  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Can't say I'm surprised. He's better off bowt.

Just a shout out here for how painfully disappointing Alien Earth turned out to be.

Went off it. A bit too IRA sympathetic for my liking. That and too much faggotry.

Well, I've watched the first two episodes, and sadly, not all that much faggotry at all.

What I do know though, is that these first two episodes are absolutely boring as fuck. I'll give it one more episode, and unless there is some debauched buggery, or something actually happens. I'll stop watching

Boredom not buggery.

Same net result.

It's improved, I've watched 5 episodes in total now, the faggotry ramped up a bit in episode 5

First two episodes of Trigger Point were decent. Easy watch

Is it just people shining torches all the way through or is there an actual story?

It’s just folk shining torches up glory holes :D

Started watching The Ridge on BBC.  Sounded as though could be a good crime drama/thriller set in NZ.  Sacked it off after 10 mins as felt travel sick with the camera wobbling and zooming in/out all the time. Why oh why.

just watching

Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland

not sure how old it is but

well worth a Watch

5 of then 1Hr each

It was in episode 7, full on faggotry in that one. Anyway, I've done all 8 episodes now, and it was OK I suppose, nothing special though (IMO)

My mate is on that, John Chambers, author of A Belfast Child

The better watch though is Spotlight on The Troubles, A Secret History.

A mutual veteran friend of ours who drinks in the Dancers is featured at the beginning of a certain episode

In the series A Secret History, a former IRA member Des Long speaks many truths

For a former Republican member, I'd listen to that fella and have a pint with him

I had a feeling Lamb's torture story in Slow Horses happened to him.

Not my favourite series of the 5, but the last episode was good.

Yep, agree. Point scoring aside it was bang average.

I thought this season had the most laughs in it, but overall very very strong.

I’d sell a kidney for a go on Aimee Ffion Jones

She's ace her, I'm glad theyve not killed her off yet. Preferred how she looked in Detectorists though.

Everyone seems to get a whole new look in each series of Slow Horses!

Aye, she was splendid in Detectorists.

i don’t think she smiles once in this season but I’d still give her a special cuddle.

I wish Youri was still here, his head would explode with this Romesh Parent shite now on.

SPOILER maybe

You've also got the woman who played the woman in Bates Motel, the one with the oxygen tanks, to come back I reckon

Never explained where her body went or how she was in Slough House

SPOILER ALERT.....

If they stick to the books she (Sid) does come back in to it later (Slough House)...

SPOILER ALERT 2 & 3.....

Shirley (in the books) hasn't died yet......

If they DO stick to the books there is a few characters dying in the next season (Joe Country & Slough House).....

The teaser for the next series alone looked like it had a bigger budget than this whole series 5 has, looks like it could be an big one!
