Shirley (in the books) hasn't died yet...... If they DO stick to the books there is a few characters dying in the next season (Joe Country & Slough House)..... The teaser for the next series alone looked like it had a bigger budget than this whole series 5 has, looks like it could be an big one! Quote

The teaser looked good 👍 I was a little disappointed in season 5 tbh... Although Oldman plays Lamb to a tee 👍 Quote

I did read a lukewarm series review about it after ep1 though which probably clouded it, won't be doing that again. Quote
little whitt Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Murder Before Evensong worth a watch only 6 of them Quote
Zico Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Monster - Ed Gein on Netflix very much enjoyed it hadn't heard of him but found it fascinating how he influenced popular culture and other serial killers, made for a very interesting series but didn't think much of the ending, almost like they were commemorating him Quote

There's a fair bit of flex with the characters too Cant wait till they try it with Albert Fish Quote

Alf Hartigan Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Dexter is my favourite serial killer. Killer of serial killers that lad 👏 Quote
Not in Crawley Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Not a tv show but the bruce spingsteen film is as vapid as his music. Awful. Other half loved it though. Quote

bolty58 Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Vince Gilligans new offering - Pluribus. Watched the first episode tonight, will get round to Ep. 2 tomorrow. Plenty of familiar faces from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. No connection to them however. Sci Fi drama. Too early to score by me but I note higher than 9/10 so far by those further in than me. Whitestar Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Well last night i watched the NEW Bullseye. Now i can't make out if it was a tongue in cheek piss take of the original or weather it was really that bad. Host is ok doing certain presenting jobs but NOT this one, midget doing the scores looks nearly as scruffy as the contestants, the bits of black insulation tape are coming off Bully's prize board, the extra added round is not required and totally failed and the prizes are still crap. All in all it was AWFUL. Quote
little whitt Posted November 10 Posted November 10 SLOW HORSES Season 5 Fucking AMAZING best thing on TV season 6 looks Better Quote

It's good so far, but I don't understand how they're going to prolong the story to 2 seasons (maybe more) Quote

frank_spencer Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Do they still have a fat lezzer couple pretending to just be 'housemates'? Quote

Not in Crawley Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Once Upon A Time in Space as part of the BBC's documentary series is exceptional. A must watch. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Trespasses on Channel 4 1970s Northern Irish Catholic teacher shagging Protestant barrister. A little bit cliche heavy but really well acted on the whole and Gillian Anderson plays a very convincing alcoholic widow, well away from her usual roles Quote
little whitt Posted November 13 Posted November 13 All Her Fault worth a watch good twist at the end Quote
