That 'Saturday Night Live UK' that everyone said was going to be shite was actually alright. Quite refreshing to see a load of new faces on a prime time comedy show. Early days, but that George Fouracres has a hint of Vic and Bob about him.

Was a mixed bag, I did think the Starmer and Lammy sketch was very very funny. He’s got the voice bang on 😁

Jo Nesbo's Detective Hole has dropped on Netflix (9 episodes)....

I've read all the books, so I'm hoping the show is good, and will lead to further seasons based on the books.......

The new show is based on The Devil's Star...

Like any live comedy, it becomes infinitely less funny when you write it down to criticise it. That's a direct route to becoming a miserable bastard. And I'm not a big fan either.

I used to dislike Romesh. But now I think he's ace.

He's great on Last one laughing and his new podcast series' are brilliant.

The Ricky Gervais one and the last one with the camp bloke off 8/10 cats are brilliant.

Romesh did the whole 'make money whilst you can' thing and took every job going so he got annoyingly familiar. He also did the whole wonky eyed and brown skinned sketch too much for too long.

But, he is actually a funny guy and also clever with it. The anti woke wazzocks will hate him for that of course.

I have a soft spot for Sri Lanka so I just can't help but like the fella.

Still not in the same league as Bob Mortimer of course. That man is a genius.

His podcast is a good un isn't it. Was watching the episode with Sheridan Smith last week. Used to love his "hiphop saved my life" one from a few years back. He's just funny and is always taking the piss out of himself. 

Russell Howard is another one with a cracking podcast at the minute if you like comedy.
