Spider Posted March 19 Posted March 19 New series of Last One Laughing, holy fuck it’s amazing. Diane Morgan does a bit and if you don’t laugh you’re genuinely dead inside Quote
Not in Crawley Posted March 19 Posted March 19 The Tony Blair doc on channel 4 is a brilliant watch, as is the Murdoch one on Netflix. Saving last one laughing for this weekend Quote

Cheese Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) That 'Saturday Night Live UK' that everyone said was going to be shite was actually alright. Quite refreshing to see a load of new faces on a prime time comedy show. Early days, but that George Fouracres has a hint of Vic and Bob about him. Edited March 23 by Cheese Quote

Was a mixed bag, I did think the Starmer and Lammy sketch was very very funny. He’s got the voice bang on 😁 Quote

jeep Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Jo Nesbo's Detective Hole has dropped on Netflix (9 episodes).... I've read all the books, so I'm hoping the show is good, and will lead to further seasons based on the books....... The new show is based on The Devil's Star... Quote

Like any live comedy, it becomes infinitely less funny when you write it down to criticise it. That's a direct route to becoming a miserable bastard. And I'm not a big fan either. deeane Koontz Posted March 29 Posted March 29 He's alreet Romesh. Just not done himself any favours by being on every TV show in the past 10 years. Quote

gonzo Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I used to dislike Romesh. But now I think he's ace. He's great on Last one laughing and his new podcast series' are brilliant. The Ricky Gervais one and the last one with the camp bloke off 8/10 cats are brilliant. Quote

He also did the whole wonky eyed and brown skinned sketch too much for too long. But, he is actually a funny guy and also clever with it. The anti woke wazzocks will hate him for that of course. I have a soft spot for Sri Lanka so I just can't help but like the fella. Still not in the same league as Bob Mortimer of course. That man is a genius. Quote

Bob Mortimer is the funniest human being that's ever lived. I'd love a pint with him. Quote

Was watching the episode with Sheridan Smith last week. Used to love his "hiphop saved my life" one from a few years back. He's just funny and is always taking the piss out of himself. Russell Howard is another one with a cracking podcast at the minute if you like comedy. Edited March 29 by deeane Koontz Quote
Marc505 Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Biggest turnaround in opinion of someone since Sam Dalby on here with Romesh! Quote
