  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

With concrete boots?

Watched the entirety of series 2 of Dinosaur last night. Probably not for everyone, but I really enjoyed it, better than the first series in fact. Just the right mix of comedy and emotion. And very relatable for anyone who has experiences of autism, without it being made a sympathy topic or even the main storyline, despite it being an obvious factor.

Anyone watched His & Hers? A lot better than I expected.

The Girlfriend on Prime.

Great programme but you wouldn’t want her as your missus.

yes mate, we enjoyed it

Small Prophets is lovely - new Mackenzie Cook sitcom.

Also, Michael Palin and my Dad seem to have morphed into each other in their 80s 😁

Aye he's ace is Ray.

One episode into second series of Fallout and it's definitely promising to be just as good if not even better than the first

Full season was great. So on point with the details from the game too. They've really done it justice.

Fallout is great - but Industry - my goodness, it gets darker and darker and better.

Cheers for the reminder on this one. Watched series one and forgot about it. Now enjoying 2 and 3.

You are right. Very good.

It's superb, worth a second watch for a lot of stuff you miss first time round.

Crook is a genius.

Set up beautifully at the end as well.

10/10

Im enjoying it, though not as much as Detectorists

Only slight issue I have with it is, some of the acting seems a bit... ropey.

Part of the problem there is that Detectorists was so utterly perfect that anything else he does will probably fall a bit short.

I think the acting is a bit weird in places but wonder if it’s on purpose. Dunno.

worth a watch

3 Seasons  6 each

Shifty on BBC is a great watch if you like your 70s and 80s nostalgia. It's a documentary on the changing face of Britain.  Some shocking and surprising news clips from the archives.

That the Adam Curtis thing? I watched that a bit back, enjoyed it - if that's the right word!

Have you seen Trauma Zone? Pretty much the same thing but about Russia, bloody bleak that.
