Enjoyed the first episode of Informer. Looks like it could get good. The Little Drummer Girl looks OK too.

Anyone watched Mr. Mercedes? Good to see the Exeter lad doing well in the US but fuck me - graphic murder, incest  etc. all a bit much for me. I want to be uplifted, not depressed. Do these types of shows not give the crazies ideas?

When It was on telly have all episodes recorded on freeview box but it packed up when it came to watching the last one

Informer is superb. It's all on iPlayer and I'm already up to episode 5.

The only downside is the acting isn't the best, especially Paddy Considine.

It’s just pretending to be someone else. Most folk grow out of it at the age of five.

Not sure I get your point.

Some actors are good at acting some are bad. Paddy Considine is the latter, unless all his roles are supposed to be monotone sounding characters who also sound like they are reading from a script for the first time.

Oh, and Traf, I fully agree. I think you're referring to Dead Man's Shoes. Awful. So bad in fact, Considine was one of the better actors.
