Just a heads up Miami , there is a new book coming out soon called  "On the Trail of the Yorkshire Ripper" , it's very in depth showing the Murder sites now and the grave sites of the victims plus a lot of other info. The lad writing it really knows his stuff and he has a Facebook page about the book with loads of pictures and other stuff.

Cheers Dusan, I’ll keep an eye open for that, thanks pal.

Just finished the Sunderland til I die series on Netflix.

Great stuff.  Quite a few similarities with us and heart breaking to see genuine people trying their best for the club but it just not working out. There's Jack Rodwell too.

Just a pity there wasn't a camera inside the dressing room for the after match bust ups

The fans interviewed at the start talking about automatic promotion were in for a shock! The Premier Passions series when Peter Reid was manager were a good watch as well.

Felt a bit disappointed there was no real twist to be honest. Well made but didn't have any wow moments for me. Maybe a victim of the standards they've set on previous big set piece episodes

Found it hard to watch

Not mentally, visually

Had to turn the brightness right up and even then you had to seriously concentrate to tell what was going on half the time

This

I thought my TV was fucked, brand new OLED job, I spent ten minutes digging out the warranty / customer services number

Quick google and it turns out HBO are a crock of shit. They compress the life out of it for streaming and it just royally fucks the image when watching on a big screen

Apparently the worse thing you can do is turn the brightness up, cinema mode is meant to be your best bet

Was a battle episode though wasn’t it. They didn’t half pad it out mind. Watching it felt like doing a work out

Still a few twists and turns left no doubt

Glad it wasn't just me then, it was good like but squinting to try and figured out what was going on spoiled it a little bit

*Spoiler alert*

But what spoiled it more was that all the big names came through unscathed.  Was the biggest casualty a dragon? Only3 episodes left and they won't all get bumped off by cersei.  Thought the night king might put up more of a fight to the end.  Fingers crossed for a big finish still

Feature length, so not sure if its classed as a film - but anyone seen Abducted in Plain Sight on Netflix? That has got to the the most fucked up story ever.

In a car without a washing-up glove and soap. That's what made me feel sick!

Don't you want most of those big names to survive now? Can't think of many I want dead. Apart from Cersei. Obvs....

not really, I'm not really into happy endings - one of the things that has made GOT so great is that you cannot get attached to anyone -  shocking TV is far better than happy TV  - GOT had me early doors when Ned Stark went, the other one was Oberin.

I think my ideal ending, after Cersei has been brutally bumped off by Jaime and Tyrion, would be for Danerys to kill Jon Snow so that he doesn't make a claim to her throne, now that would be a good ending

Wouldn't be that unlikely.

Not sure what ending I want now.......Arya to go on a mad one and kill everyone?

I've honestly no idea - the only one I can think of that satisifies is that Danerys kills Jon idea

saw these quotes from a top bod at HBO - who obviously wouldn't say anything else

“Everything I have seen makes me very, very confident that this is a [season] fans are going to be very happy with,” HBO president Casey Bloys told TVLine.

“It is a dramatically and emotionally thrilling way to end the series. I believe it will live up to the very high expectations.”

alternatively, Danerys tries to kill Jon, but gets killed herself in the process, by Jon or maybe Arya (possibly Sansa)

the only thing that is possibly certain is that the Hound kills the Mountain, or the Mountain kills the Hound

dunno

Ayra and Gendry on the throne and Danery's and Jon live in isolation bringing up their child so that it opens up the possibility of a new GoT in which the child is mad and tries and gets the throne.

Tirrion and his brother to die and therefore no Lannisters left.

Sanza is queen of the North

Watched the series finale of American Gods season 2 last night, very disappointing really and just setting themselves up for series 3.

Think I'm going to give Homecoming a go next, short episodes so ideal for a binge.

can't be arsed with series 2, series 1 started off promisiing but just found it all over the place come the end as opposed to coming to some sort of conclusion

sounds like series 2 is more of the same
