We need 4 Salaries in. Crellin and White cover Two. Taft and Comley may get offers see who would take the pay off

No real alternative once that cap is in place !

Nope no need to spend a penny. Crellin and White return to there parent club.

Greenidge,Hickman,Taft,Mascoll, Comley,Crawford,Senior all offered to clubs on either loan deals.

No takers on loan deals offer them 50 % of there remaining contract.

In the current climate it would be quite difficult to get a player to take half of what they are due in order to leave

Plus we'd have to stump the cash

It doesnt even attempt to address my point, so why he quoted me, god knows

I actually agree we wont be paying silly fees, but you can only sign whats available and everything you want is unlikely to be available in the one window

What’s happened to Taft?

when we signed him he came with good reviews and had good experience in L2

Reckon it's a close call atm with him & Delaney.

Delaney's been a bit shit recently & out of all the rest of them not playing, I think Taft can consider himself unlucky.

Might be shite in training, mind.

Fact - he isolated for a period so was unavailable

Guesswork - hes not completely over covid

Fact (i think) - he didnt play for Cambridge after November

Guesswork - hes a defender who cant defend

Fact - Evatt said we had signed a few who thought they had made it when they signed for us

Guesswork - Taft is one of them

So, to answer you, no idea  :)

On another two who seem to be on the outside, id put my internet 5er on Hickman and Graham being moved on

Dunno if anybody has seen some of the shit Hickmans agent twatters and i think Grahams not doing himself any favours

Understatement that pal

To be fair, i hear hes a good pro, just very limited

Could live with his limitations if he could dominate in the air

He justdoesnt seem to be good at anything

In the good run, he seemed to get a lot of time on the ball and seemed half decent

Taft was ok in the first few games. It will be a shame if he is not training well or his attitude is not good. Have we got any Centre halfs who can defend crosses/corners ? None of them seem able to do that job very well.

I’ve just been promoted with 119 points on fm. Think I could do a job

Do we need to spend?

newport/ FGR & Carlisle all spent nowt free transfers & loans this is where he earns his money, using the embargo is just an excuse

I don’t think we do in this league or the league above.

Not disputing he's been "a bit shit" in last couple of games, but I'd cut him some slack.  Based on the fact that we saw in the first 10 or so games that he could be our best player, in some games win lose or draw I saw him win 95% of tackles and not give the ball away.  Like when Santos has a bad game, we now know its just a bad game, not that he isnt capable or he lacks ability.  Delaney has got most of what it takes to be a good league 2 defender, in contrast to the Whites, Comleys etc who have never shown they can play at this level for us.

Im not looking to have him shot, but i dont think ive seen him win a header in our box, all season

I suppose he must have at chelrenham tbf

Add in the fact that santos is equally poor in the air, its an area needs addressing

For big lads at cb to be done 17 times off set pieces is pathetic. End of.

Is Edwards still knackered?

Yep. He's had screws in his knees rubbing tendons which can't be immediately dealt with by surgeons due to Covid pressures according to some information from last week.

Said that a couple of weeks ago. Crying out for a Hendry/Newsome type of no nonsense centre half

Defending set pieces is basic training

Agreed, but there’ll not many of those around who are willing to play in the bottom tier.

Telling em where to stand is basics

Getting them to jump isnt so easy

I dont think folk are generally left unmarked, theyre more often just unchallenged

We dont get off the ground

Pisses me right off
