Big difference in there being no money at all and no money currently for transfers 

whilst it’s not something fans want to hear, particularly in the madness of a Jan transfer window where prices are inflated, if it is the hierarchy demonstrating control then we can’t really complain.

Why can people not see the squad was over bloated and we was/are paying around 40k a week wages on players not even making the squad.

We have needed these numbers in previous years because we had up to eight out injured each week

Another complete shit show from the past.

No need to have a first team squad then up to seven players sat in the stands twiddling their thumbs

It is not a panic by the board, but good management from all involved at the club.

Didn’t say we were being frugal, I said they may be demonstrating a bit more control. Which is completely acceptable in my mind 

there isn’t an infinite amount of money available so in this window if the message is ‘recoup before we spend’ considering the track record of the signings we have made for a fee in the last 12 months and the size of the squad with sellable assets in it, then that is totally understandable and no different than probably 90% of team in the football league

That’s wasn’t who I was on about I’ve heard this mentioned by several people I want saying it was correct but we’ve been spooked by admin before people shouldn’t say things like that as it spooks people.  I don’t mean Cheese as everyone knows his was a joke

We weren't 'spooked' by admin. It ran over the hill, stopped at the top and shouted 'We are going into admin' about 50 times before it happened. 

There may well come a day where we need to seek new funding or literally live within our means, but the idea that players aren't being paid (trust me, the players would tell you much more quickly than a message board) is way wide of the mark.

As has been mentioned, SB is less involved, and our CFO quietly left the club a few weeks ago (with no mention of it from the club) so there are changes at management level. That doesn't mean there's no money!
