Alan Thompson won more silverware. Anyway, point is we should have got more for Thompson who played very well in our relegation season.

Clough, at the time, people thought we'd undersold him, it turns out we did very well on the deal, as it turns out, the "promise" was just that, as his career just petered out. He's probably got a decent life playing Sunday League in Australia now though, so fair play to him

Eidur was a fucking disgrace at £4m. Hargreaves said we’d never sell for that in March then come June he went. 

The Madine one probably covers all the bad ones though as apart from 4 weeks I’d of took £80k for him let alone £8ml. Just a shame it went to ww hero Ken

He wasnt. He was an absolute shyster and after flipping a club in distress and making himself as much as he could.

In the end he stopped paying bills and covering losses as the ship began to sink.

Think people forget the two seasons where the bills were getting paid and we had to beg steal and borrow to survive whilesaddled with HMRC bills and wonga loans.

I genuinely doubt he put a penny in. He stopped paying bills when he mortgaged everything off. 
 

He’d of sunk us if he could and split/sold the stadium (he’s an asset stripper in his previous life) sadly have first hand experience of.

Luckily couldn’t get his Mits on what ended up being the cash cow.
