The sorting chap we may look at as there maybe be money to be made.

Be a big step for him to be dropped straight in and expected to be scoring plenty. 

While money talks, I reckon our longer term replacement for Dion has just gone on loan to Donny. He seems to have a similar type of game

Our recruitment has got us to second in the league.  Every transfer window has improved our squad under Evatt. 

Wondering if a 6 month deal can be done with Dutch/Moroccan Anwar El Ghazi who is still only 28? Interesting situation for him and his agent might just bite.

After a successful 2022/23 season for him scoring 8 in 24 for PSV and getting tons of assists, Mainz signed him on a 2 year Bundesliga contract but it went tits up immediately when he posted the catchphrase "From the river to the sea Palestine will be free" on social media and was immediately suspended by the club. Despite him apologising and saying that above all he valued peace, Mainz took the hard line, stopped selecting him and terminated his contract last week.

He's no terrorist - just another stupid footballer spouting what is expected of him - but might be desperate for someone to throw him a lifeline and he'd murder this league with his quality. Absolute outside punt for a league 1 team but worth asking the question.

Apparently lots of interest from EFL clubs for this lad who did himself no harm on his TV appearance and performance in the last round. Just the kind of player we need, big, strong and very much a Nobby look about him. Don’t think he’s an out and out striker more an attacking midfielder but would fit very well in our system I think.

Wasn't aware of them being flush with cash though they did pay out around £3m total for two players pre-season. Suspect they'd be trying it on with bids around the £1m mark

Some random twitter account called "EFL Transfers" reckons we've accepted an offer from PNE and Charles is currently in contract talks with them.

Preston paid a record £2.1 million for a striker in the summer...biggest ever transfer.

We're literally bigger than Swansea, Hull and Preston combined.

I know they can guarantee Charles Championship football, but id be shocked if Charles would even consider leaving being our main man, at a huge football club with a huge potential and infrastructure. We're also 2 points of the top with a game in hand.
