a CB and CF will do nicely as things stand right now, but if a CB doesn't come in then trust the injuries to Santos and Toal aren't an issue

Lots of players carry injuries and can cope and play through them so there may be no need to panic yet. We’ve just brought in two defenders though so surely they can fit in in the middle for an odd game? Neither are small and Ramsey in particular looks a good size to fill in on the right where we still have JDC and Matheson. On the left we’ve got Iredale and Ashworth so if we are struggling just a CH on loan would probably suffice. Yet again though it shows the weakness of our B Team that we don’t have one central defender that can fill in in an emergency.

The issue I have is why sign a guy we wouldn’t of looked at yesterday but now as we are desperate. Danny Butterfield probably a good example in many ways. Was available and mates with the manager. If they had a long term target and went early then all good. I just don’t see the point. Go with what we have.

What we have might not be enough if someone gets injured and is out for a few games

It could be the difference between going up or not 

Or it might not 

But why not if it's a short term loan or deal

He's 27, made 49 first class appearances and was let go last summer by Cardiff. He had been banned for 8 games for racist abuse of a colleague which he says he can't recall but probably did, because he was pissed.

The football community is full of knobs....Yes he got banned for 8 games despite having a Indian girlfriend

Played in Both the English and Scottish Premier and England u21.......Worth looking for a short term deal if fitness is not a problem.

Never played a computer game in my life.....Just putting a name forward of what is available

The B Team will take another few years at least before it can produce good enough players

It's just the reality of us having to rebuild from the ground up

It’s actually a decent shout 51 except that not having played he can’t step straight in so wouldn’t be needed by the time he was properly fit.

Depends who we get in. Short term why not but I think you are scraping the barrel on who comes in and I think loans have to be for the season now days. Just don’t like signing anyone off a whim

He's reached the age of 27, employed as a professional football player all his life & managed less than 50 first class league appearances. Some of those will have been as a sub. That's not many more than me & you.

He's not played for 8 months. He has an existing 6 matches from an 8 match ban to complete*.

Clearly a waster. That you'd propose him at all is barely credible, tbh it's amazing he's come onto your radar at all.

 

* He could have signed for any number of clubs just to exhaust this ban, but hasn't.
