We would need 2 quality strikers though and everyone wants them so we might be stuck with these mediocre strikers for now.

He doesn’t make an impact and we’re no worse off than we are now and we’re doing ok, if he brings half a dozen more goals then they could be the difference. The more fire power the better Regardless of what league we’re in next season there’s clearly some changes going to be happening up top. So get someone banked now.

Can't quite see that myself but then I'd never have seen Gethin doing it until he did. Wouldn't have seen Simon Charlton and Mick Whitlow doing it all those years ago either. January 29, 20242 yr I think one point on the signing, if he comes , is that we are potentially bringing forward a signing that might have been planned in the summer. With injuries and league position we could be speculating by going over planned budget to try and secure promotion. So the signing will be balanced in the summer. It would seem crazy to let anyone leave at the moment.

Flagged this up as an option a few times now but we don’t know the budget or even if FV have investors/ buyers waiting in the wings if we get promoted. I’d love to know what’s going on behind the scenes but they aren’t telling. Notable though that these are loans not signings so maybe it’s a mini gamble? Still, we’re definitely giving promotion a shot which is wonderful.
