You could have a very unhappy player sulking on the bench running down his contract .

You’d imagine given his profile £3.5m is probably the going rate.

They'll be happy to unload him and get money back before his head goes...Other teams with more money get wind of it and are willing to pay more.. so Gent know they can get more now..Hence him "missing the plane"..

You could have a very unhappy player sulking on the bench running down his contract .Hardly pricing him out of a move.£3.5m is buttons in championship now. Unfortunately not to us. The reality is, we have to survive a season, then build again.Best analogy of our position i can think of is weirdlyrugby league. First season a team gets into the Super League, they just have to avoid relegation. That's we're I see us being.Just have to finish above three other teams.
Friday at 07:221 day I've decided this season that i'm not going to make a judgement about a single player until 10 games in - whether good or bad. We're bad for writing off players so early ala Dalby last year. Also for hyping up playing so early ala Simons last year or the polish full back years ago, think it was Alioski or something like that.I'm witholding any judgement for as long as possible
Friday at 08:191 day Kenny or Dean will sign it’s Gent playing silly beggars no way is he going for 3.5 million I’d rather spend 2 mil on Kenny than Dean.

May have done well abroad, but still a fair chunk for a relative unknown.

Don't disagree btw but just look at the prices paid by Bristol City for example - Tolaj £4m and Ballard £5m and we shouldn't be surprised.

Two players who have played against our L1 back line and not scored, despite their good records.
Friday at 08:341 day I'd argue that the squad as it stands at the moment is worse than the one we had in February. Discuss 😁

Friday at 08:551 day Popular Post Our back line is better , midfield is no worse barring injury & suspensions ,And we will strengthen up front before window close so stop being so negative ffs

The £1m offer we sent seemed way too low for a striker who's been scoring goals at a decent rate for a few seasons and is only 23.

Shouldn't be starting the season in a league above with it being in this state and struggling to cover positions regardless of excuses.Still don't reckon we'll lose tomorrow. 2-0
