Thought he was a left footed left winger who’s main attribute was finding a man with his delivery - then he pings a 40 yard cross-field ball with his right foot, now not a clue.I’d guess that he is a left footed left winger and with Larrazabal being right footed on the right then we might be swinging balls in for Dalby after a season of everyone saying that’s what we should be doing!

16 hours ago16 hr He had a bit of a stinker last year at West Brom. His fifth loan in 3 seasons, so clearly in need of a good home which hopefully we can provide. This is exactly the sort of profile Fergal said we would sign, someone who is undervalued at the moment for whatever reason.
16 hours ago16 hr Well, get ACD in ont' tother side, & some striker ffs. Oh & an experienced midfield bastard.
16 hours ago16 hr You can't go off highlight reels but ...... (!) the two things that struck me watching his are that he is not afraid just to whip the cross in early and the second that he's defensively sound. He seems to have played at wing-back a lot which may account for why his goalscoring record isn't too good in more recent times.Anyway I have a good friend who is a Villa fan and this is the verdict: Came as part of the deal that took Douglas Luiz to Juve. Played for England at all junior levels and has impressed when he’s featured but been on loan to Bologna, Albion and Boro. Raw but quick and skillful. I guess a bit like the fellas you normally have out wide. Bit of a question whether he’s really a full back.
16 hours ago16 hr Father in Law is a West Brom season ticket holder. He sounded a bit underwhelmed with how he'd performed with the baggies to be fair. His assessment was that he's quick (but not lightening quick) - but he felt like he was trying too hard to prove himself - and often ended up with a poor end product as a result. Having said that - he does reckon he's easily Championship standard, still quite young and with potential if a bit raw. I'm not really sure we shoud be expecting much more than that given that's were a newly promoted side. Let's hope he does well with us. After all - ACD had a stinker at Blackburn before he arrived with us.
16 hours ago16 hr The defensive bit is promising. As SS likes his full backs to get forward, then having wide players who are a bit more capable defensively is a bonus.
16 hours ago16 hr He was fucking good at juve for the season he had there. Only 19 when he played for them. He's a proper player him. Unreal in that U21s game at the bok too few years back

16 hours ago16 hr West Brom were a basket case last season - I wouldn’t hold too much against any young kid on loan there who didn’t really stand out
16 hours ago16 hr If he'd had productive loans we wouldn't have a sniff of him, gone through every England age group & cost £12M quid. His flexibility will hopefully be a major asset for us, either wing & even wing back if needed
15 hours ago15 hr No one features for Juve's first team as a teenager if they don't have abilityA bit of a frustrating time for him since but if we can get the best out of him he could be a proper player
15 hours ago15 hr The thing is, Junior has played for Boro and WBA, two established championship clubs whose fans expect them to be pushing for promotion. On the other hand, he's come to a club that just wants to consolidate a place in the Championship and enjoy the ride, he'll be at home here.
15 hours ago15 hr With all new signings you should be allowed to indulge in the best case scenario to be fair. Wrexham fans have talked up Lewis Brunt like he's Beckenbauer and that's because they're absolutely correct. Meanwhile Baggies fans reckon this lad is like a less talented Dan Nlundulu, but they know fuck all. He's clearly got something, or had it at some point. Worries me a bit that he's not seen as overly quick, as neither are Dong or Gale. But let's find out.

But let's find out.At the age he's at and with the chopping and changing he's had in his career I think he probably has more development to make. Hopefully we can give him some stability and get the best ouf of him. I am sure that's what Villa hope also.I do think modern day footballers are more complex creatures than their forebears. They thrive in certain systems and not in others - the jigsaw piece has to fit perfectly. In the old days it was rarely anything other than 4-4-2 and life was more predictable for one and all.
