The loans to PbP and BM are larger and possibly more significant, Any sale of the club would be on a debt free cash free basis, which basically means that the club is valued, then any debts are taken off the price and any cash in the club is added on to the price. Any potential buyers won’t be put off by the debts / contingent payments to ED because they won’t be paying for them, it will be the price that Ken wants for it (knowing he will only get the net value as cash) that would be the stumbling block.
