FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

First misstep for me. Sends out the wrong message to the kids who've worked so hard.

Anyway, let's look forward to the next one

Other than politic , we aren't blessed with talented wide attacking players so buckley seems a sensible signing till January, along with the Stoke lad. King harmes didn't look good enough, and Ronan Darcy and Eddie brown are very lightweight.

He would be had he not spent the last two years keeping himself as far away from the ball as possible.

this would have been nice, goal machine

Clean slate. Find it  a bit embarrassing that people are slagging players off in the situation we're in. Yes the kids have battled brilliantly - they've also just lost two games 5-0 and as average as Buckley was - he will improve our team.

He wasn't great, don't think anybody would be happy if we were championship but in this league he should be more effective. Clean slate and judged from this point forwards. If he's rubbish he may leave in January.

So will plenty of others on that basis.

However as Hill has now signed him, he's entitled to some backing. Cautious perhaps, but new start.

3 Games.

Let's see if he can do any better this time round. He surely can't be worse

Buckley was great at Rochdale under Hill

Buckley and Bridcutt were really good together at Brighton (not so good at Sunderland in the Prem)

Think there's more positives than negatives

Bog off! Williams and Connolly were fine last year. I'd have loved to see either of them back here this season

Looks like Joe Bunney is next, it's been confirmed by Northampton he's had his contract terminated.

It's worth remembering that although we've done crap in the Championship 3 out of the last 4 seasons, our year in L1 we walked it, so building a squad to get out of the relegation fight isn't going to need Premier league quality - crap championship quality should do!

I don't get why we'd want Clough. Hill had him at Rochdale and he was sat on the bench. He's lightweight and not sure the sort we need to go alongside kids.

Weird blind spot some of our fans have with Clough.

9 in 23 for us last time at this level.

13 in 45 for us in the Championship.

Where are we getting players who can manage that? (and where have they been for the past three years).
