FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Only 13 goals in the last 5 years for Chris O'Grady.  Although his best rate seemed to be the spell at Rochdale when Keith Hill was manager there, so he knows how to get the goals from him.

Been playing a while!

and the Barnsley career was also under Keith Hill I think - so he does seem to get the best out of him.

Seems to be getting back on form at Oldham, 6 from 23 equates to 12 over a season.  We haven't had a striker score over 12 for many a year.   Kevin Davies got 12 in 2008, but we've struggled to get a striker into double figures since then.

EDIT: no, Keith Hill had left Barnsley by then.

Yeah, hes more of a target man, hold the ball up type, never been an out an out goalscorer, he was alright for us, ironically he played up front with Madine, and was the workhorse of the two, so, yeah....

Absolutely. The likes of O'Grady and Bunney can be done whenever

INS

Liam Bridcutt (loan) - Nottingham Forest

Thibauld Verlinden (loan) - Stoke City

Will Buckley - Free agent

Jake Wright (loan) - Sheff Utd

VERY POSSIBLES

Joe Bunney - Free agent

Chris O'Grady - Free agent

Ali Crawford - Free agent

Joe Dodoo (loan) - Rangers

Daryll Murphy - Free agent

It's just a deadline for loan signings that has now passed.

The fact clubs can terminate a players contract by mutual consent, and then we can sign a free agent, effectively means we could sign anyone at any time going forward.
