    FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

    We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Flitcroft is adamant they’ll get a tune out of Buckley

I'm no Buckley fan, but got a feeling Buckley will be playing in a more central role under Hill and Flitcroft, maybe we might start to see a different player now, we live in hope!

Rotherham our next league game , would be ace to give them a good hiding.  0-5

It would, but i can't see it happening just yet. Be nice to stem the deluge of goals we're conceding - and maybe score one or 2 ourselves.

Onwards and upwards.

So what’s our starting 11 going to be now then?

Matthews;

Emmanuel, Wright, Hobbs, Bunney;

Bridcutt, Lowe;

Verlinden, Buckley, Politic;

Murphy.

or

Alnwick;

Brockbank, Zouma, Edwards, Earl;

L. Murphy, Darcy, Weir;

King-Harmes, O’Grady, Brown.

Not our that into any order just whoever I thought of first.

No fan of his so far but clean slate now lets see what he can do. Could be a different player under these two

I think the man who’s let 20 goals in 4 games needs a break

Alnwick for me

Anybody know much about this Crawford fella?

Played 36 times for Doncaster last season, seen Doncaster fans not happy about him leaving after only 1 season (must have fallen out with someone) have a feeling he could be decent for us.

Really pleased with today. Can't wait for the game tomorrow now as I'm sure quite a few will feature. Might actually be a decent turnout.

I'm getting the thought that Wycombe, Tranmere, Ipswich and Gillingham have been extremely fortunate and that Coventry have blown a huge chance.

Chuffed to fuck with this window, staying up would be like promotion to be honest, especially with potential further points deduction, Hill and Flitcroft have got a free hit because they'll be going nowhere if we go down again.

Seconded

As good as we could have expected. O'Grady doesn't inspire me to be honest, but he's Hill's man and will be given my support.

Coventry must be scratching their heads thinking how😀

A lot of those goals were more about the defenders around him, he's saved a shitload of other chances.

Strange one Mathews looked ok in spells last season

Alnwick edges it for me

Probably as as exciting a day as we could have hoped for. Chuffed.

What are they raging about?

Crawford was decent at Hamilton my mate is a season ticket holder

what a day that was. FV have really made one hell of an impact that’s for sure and deserve our support 100%

rotherham overnight stay for me and one from up here wants to see a proper away day. I’m confident we will be more than competitive by then.

Us bending the rules to start the season. Cancelling games, giving teams an advantage by playing the kids and now playing others with a proper team etc etc

Instead there are ‘fans’ on twitter criticising the fact they have funded the purchase with loans. Absolute morons.

Been here 5 days. New manager and assistant and ten new signings. But no let’s look on companies house at loan agreements we don’t have full context for and pull it apart. Especially when the amounts for the loans seem greater than anyone thought FV could raise.

Isn't that what you are supposed to do during a transfer window - strengthen the squad?
