   I'm a massive Foden fan & there's many calls for him as POTY but Mahrez has been more influential imo.

Agree that they wanted them but they must have had  a max price they'd pay and it went above that so moved on to the next one

They have a specific blueprint for a player and that goes with how much it will cost them soon as it goes over that they walk away. They won’t break the transfer record for a player because it’s not just the transfer fee it’s the agent fee. Kane’s agent is his brothers firm, so I don’t see the fee being a sticking point, they’ve won the league so that’ll pay for him. I think if they want him he’ll be there

Aye, what I mean is they might want a player but can get priced out if "daft" money gets chucked about, which I think is a good stance and one which clearly works for them, but it means they don't always get the players they want initially (but they've never suffered for it)
