We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Absolutely. Love how Leicester did it, a big fuck off to the so called big clubs.

Just lucky to have the owners they have

Theyre as likeable as the red filth ( sorry if this offends @radcliffewhite1 )

:)

Id love to win the prem, but id much prefer is wasnt just down to money like it us with them twats

No offence bury boy

like I’ve said many times city fans are cocks and have very short memories

come on Chelsea

Quite a few Championship pedigree players released at Sheff Weds. A few of these still only 27/28

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57191305

Rhodes has already signed for Huddersfield and Van Aken for Zulte Waragem

Out of the bunch the two that catch the eye at Joey Pelupessy and Adam Reach. Both would be an upgrade for us.

The presence of Kieran Lee may help with ex Sheff W players.

FWIW I have no bias to any club other than BWFC, I work for a club and it pays for my kids and mortgage. I don’t root for any other club, I’m a fan of football in and out, But unless it’s BWFC, anyone else can fuck off.

Throwing a lot more money at it than anyone else as City's oil baron has done must make the trophies less thrilling It's not like they've had an exciting youth team come through, its just been ready made internationals bought in bulk.We got a taste of out spending others at Bolton in the season just gone. Those matches on Sky at Crawley and Forest Green were dull as ditchwater because Bolton had far better players than the home side.Declan John on 8k a week, bet Crawleys aren't far off £800 a week,

Kane is the sort of signing i'd expect the Glazers to make.Paying £200 million for Mbappe would appease the fans assuming they didn't sell Fernandes but they'll pay less than half that for the lower quality Kane and still have a worse front 3 than Liverpool

I thought that about Reach, too.

Until Norwich, of the Premier League, have been linked with him!

Kane won’t go if it’s only Utd

M’bappe. Give me a break.
Kane said he wants to win trophies. Don’t think he meant the Thursday night cup

Many of these championship players you’ve heard of will be on big bucks.

Peterbrough and Blackpool (even though they haven’t gone up yet) are the examples we need to follow. Same with Luton and Coventry before that.

Plenty of good players available if you do your homework. Bound to be a few Jackson/Dapo/Kioso types released by the big boys

That ain’t happening ever again.

not dull at all, we gave the league 20 games start and still should have won the league.

Sheff Wed. are clearing decks because they're broke. They've paid serious wages for a long time & few of those released will be prepared for the wages about to be offered by new parties.

In terms of those names, I'm not a student of other clubss tbh and none of those have I ever heard of prior to reading that, save for Jordan Rhodes who's made a good living avoiding signing for us. I'm amazed to see he's only 31.

Jordan Rhodes has signed for Huddersfield.

Yeah you’re right.  Journalist for city briefly mentioned that they have a cap on agent fees and that’s why Sanchez didn’t happen, that’s why I don’t see Halaand happening unless it’s next year when his £75m release clause comes in but then it really will be silly season

One thing is for sure, with no CL or ESL Levy is probably be going to be keen on a bidding war

If you think Bolton paid Declan John 8k a week your more fucking stupid than I gave you credit for. You also need to look at the wages your filthy Munich cunts are paying folk before leveling criticism as other big spending clubs.  Now do us all a favour and fuck off 👋🏼

Can’t see it.

who will pay 100/150m?

Only Utd, I guess, and I can’t see him there

I can

Then sign another defender and I reckon they'll be title challengers

What would be interesting is if utd outbid city but he wants to join city

That could happen. We’d see how strong a hand Levy has then.

City to 50m, max, I think.

They probably still prefer Haaland?

He's got three years left on his contract, there's no way they'd accept £50m for him

Easily going for over £100m i reckon, when you consider Spurs just paid £20m to have bale on loan of a season

With money yoounited have wasted £100 - £150 million for Kane would be good deal for them. Watch the anti Glazer mobs go quiet if that happens as well

They ain’t gonna get Kane with Ollie @  the wheel unless they pay way over the odds.

Anyway, who cares ?

Who're Bolton looking at ?

So you reckon the team that just finished 2nd, if they spend aound another 2-300 million, could be title contenders ?

Footballs gone.

It won't quieten them, Kane isn't that good or that expensive. If paying £100 million for Kane they'd have to buy another one of that standard in the same window to please the anti Glazer people. If only buying one player it would need to be Mbappe.

London's 4th best supported club, Chelsea spent 100 million euros more than Man Utd last summer to purchase one of the places in this season's oil barons CL Final.Chelsea already had a better squad than MU before last summer and as you would expect spending 100 million Euros more increases the gap.Surprisingly the under rated OGS finished higher in the league than them
