Hopefully IE can address his attitude and get a tune otherwise it could end up the same way as our former captain

It’s understandable they’re not that bothere, they’re having a decent season without him and doesn’t want to play for them. Time for a fresh start for both

Fwiw Kevin Davies signed him for Southport and has gone on record saying he’s a good lad.

Yep change can be good in any environment

Decent return for them as well

I think we’d be disappointed in a player potentially worth big money who promised to sign then reneged on it. Had he signed it wouldn’t have meant he couldn’t still leave but would have secured a decent fee for Accy, especially if he potted another 20 this season. Hopefully their loss is our gain and he comes here and pops them in. Two footed, strong, pacey and can head for £300k looks a cracking deal to me.

Yes, their gain would be our loss, but his behaviour (if true) doesn't sit well with me.

It won't bother you if he bangs in 10 goals this season 😁

From a football perspective, no.

Said he'd sign a contract if he didn't get a move.

Move didn't happen but he refused to sign again. Manager refused to play him.

Done

Ignore that, mate had sent me a screenshot of a fake tweet

Fuck me, shoot the bastard. 😀

If he had gone on strike, maybe I'd think different

Looks like Holts just spat his dummy out

Maybe, but they're doing well enough, so perhaps it's worked for them.

Each to their own, but once he's here, so long as he does the business and behaves then that's fine.

To paraphrase Harry Redknapp “We could sign Saddam Hussein it wouldn’t matter if we start winning”

Probably 2 sides to it anyway of who said what . Might of been promised a better contract then  when they got round to it offered him a worse deal they told is agent  🤷‍♂️

running is contract down and leaving for free is par for the course these days anyway
I won’t put him down for being a wrong on just yet 😀

Aye, fair points.

When does this window actually open, and is it possible to get it done in time for him to play at Rotherham?

Goes missing when the going gets tough though.

Knowing our luck he will do his acl in the first month. Although paying dollar for a player is another big step for us and positive news

At 26 will he get a 2 or 3 year contract like we gave Doyler? Personally if we’re confident in him it should be 3 years because if he does well in the first year we can get a decent fee for him if he leaves but if it’s 2 years he can just run it down again as he’s done at Accy.

Report from Ireland tonight  (Irish independent) that a League of Ireland club is attempting to sign Eoin Doyle in this  transfer window.
