We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

The coaches opinion may be wrong.

We'll never know if Faal could have made it

You can't have seen that little cameo at Rochdale. I know it's incredibly harsh and bordering on stupid to judge a player on ten minutes or whatever it was but I made my mind up that night. Hardly saw him again and he was here long enough to get a bit of a run out if he'd shown anything in training.

Nonsense.

I was at your side ar Rochdale that day.

Judging him off that ten minutes is like reading two pages of a novel and saying its shit.

Your just relieved

Oh yeah I was, sorry pal. There's every chance the novel could well go on to be shit though. Or certainly nowhere near as good as what you're used to reading.

This experienced coach saw him everyday in training. I think his view is fairly sound as he himself played 400+ league games. Of course we’ll never know but I think it was right to let him go.

If we were wrong I'm sure someone else will pick him up...

Faal is a good player at Enfield.

Will always be a good player at Enfield.

His record there is phenomenal in fairness, but I reckon you'd have done as well in your pomp.

Dion ‘Ray’ Charles at Accy

clip of him hitting a few for Stanley

Looks impressive, left foot right foot headers and all different types of goals, dare I say it very SJM in style…. Might be getting slightly giddy with that comparison!!! You gotta dream!

Plenty to like there, but hasn't played any football for over 7 months

Daniel Braaten looked a world beater on youtube

He did, but this is a lad who averaged a goal every 2 games last season in the league we're currently in, so he's possibly a better fit for us than Braaten was.

Looked OK on a rain sodden pitch too- no excuses any more.

Linked with a player nicknamed Ray Charles.

Unlike Ray I can see the headlines now

We need to know how he got his nickname. It might be very important

He looks better than Doyle, but that's not to hard.

But he does loads of running….

I reckon the real Ray Charles would be more potent than Doyle of late 😁

There was a montage of Doyle's goals before we signed him. Very impressive it was.
