FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Still a couple of weeks to go although there's plenty going on today. I'm really excited now to see who is brought in and how committed the owners are.

On that note, isn't it next week when FV have to reveal who they've sold the shares to? It would be good to know who is actually involved in FV now.

I’d expect that the current directors have bought them.

Dunno mate - that's the point. It's pretty obvious that Shazza et al are not averse to a bit of fancy wheeling and dealing and TBF they seem to have done a great job so far.

Sharon et al had a visit to Mr Vince a little while ago iirc. No doubt relations are vastly improved now.

It's Fergie.

Is she still a chanteuse with the Black Eyed Peas?

£538k was quoted, but regardless, if two or three are all offering the same amount as implied, why shouldn't the club encourage increased offers to seal the deal?

I trust the club to get the maximum fee possible.  I'm amazed you're doubting they have.

Nah mate. The club don’t want to maximise profit at all. 3 bids in and they accepted the lowest innit.

Don't really doubt it Daz. This lot are strictly business.

That's why there's no emotional attachment to the players they buy and sell - obviously that's different for us fans - but I'm not complaining because they've dragged us back from the brink of oblivion.

Which of the three identical bids was the lowest?

They clearly haven’t. The fact people think they won’t do what’s best and get the most for the club is mental

He's still got some of Ken's cash from the Doidge deal.

Once the clubs have had their offer(s) accepted then its down to Dapo to speak to them and decide which one (if any) he goes to.

I understand what you mean, but you cam only play an auction game if several bids have come in before you've accepted anything. Still a gamble if they all decide to fuck it off.

Got a feeling he'll end up at Ipswich.

Bingo! That's the point - they accepted them all - although having accepted one bid it seems a bit disingenuous to accept others but...I understand that they wanted to give Dapo a choice.

Not sure about Ipswich though - I'd have thought he'd choose either a nailed on Championship club or St Pauli.

LOL - they still have to pay the balance of the fee for Sala - another £8 million down the pan.

Drop in the ocean. Or was it the Irish sea?

Keep hearing those tinpot cunts from up the road (Wigan not Blackburn) have had a bid accepted. Really hope he doesn't end up there.

That would be a PR disaster for Sharon and Evatt

Id say the way the fee is paid is the deal breaker.

Nobody is wiring £535k in our post office account at midnight.

Not disingenuous at all. It's being fair to them all and the player. Especially if we quite fancy the money for a replacement, as there is more chance he'll go if plenty are in for him.

They're up shit creek, why would he gamble and go there?

Risk not being paid his wages on time and passing us going the other way in May.

That said if the money's right, it doesn't matter where he goes.

More money and doesn’t have to move are the positives.

I agree with the above I think Ipswich

I don't care where he goes if he goes.
He won't keep the shite up.

If they offer the most money, I would drive him there myself? Bollocks to Wigan. More money to make our team stronger is the key. Wigan getting relegated anyway so who care?

Not much in the way of ambition though!

Plus, they could offer him a million a week, but if they don't pay it...

Thomason doesn't need surgery and will be back in 4-5 weeks it says in the BN.

Good news that.

Wonder if it will impact on transfer plans?
