Although agree that some of the bigger clubs have reigned in their spending or are now back in the prem. 

Whatever the actual figure, it's another league financially and Casino is right that we are most likely in no position to compete yet - unless of course we have secret gazillionaire owners.

That said there has to be some way for clubs to progress up the leagues without being a full time nursery club and it's theoretically possible via astute purchases of young players and developing them and some canny investments. So far FV have shown that they are pretty ruthless in the signings market with no emotional ties to individuals and data driven procurement so I reckon if anyone is going to do it, they will. Or at least take us far enough to be an attractive investment opportunity for the big money boys.

As long as he doesn't rock up at Wigan - I wish he'd hurry up and make his mind up and let us know. I get a bit twitchy in the transfer window wondering about stuff like this and who else will come and go. It's tortuous.
