Not saying he deserved to be shot dead, but he's no angel if the stories about him are to be believed. Then again, it's possible the police did just see him and thought, fuck it, we'll shoot him for nowt, but I doubt it.
January 6, 20179 yr Author I was also interested in the police comment that it was a 'pre-planned' operation including arresting associates in Bradford at the same time. Suggests that armed police were only there because they had good intel and knew of the gun. No doubt the internal investigation will show whether someone got trigger happy.

I often find amusement reading the SWP and their slant of world and home events. There is a comforting style of writing somewhat reminisce of the old Pravda. I find little change in style between the various writers and contributors and it makes me think that there is some sort of SWP literary/media course somewhere. I also wonder how these numerous authors treat the police in their own lives when they, their relatives or friends are burgled, mugged or have a car or other accident. I wonder if they stick by their values and turn down any help?

It's unfortunate that someone's life has been ended in this way - not least because it will stir up aoad of racial tension that we really don't need. I just hope that while I support the armed Police in doing what must be a very difficult job, they are able to demonstrate that despite the outcome - they acted with as much restraint as could reasonably be expected.

These demonstrations sparked by the killing and the balaclava clad individuals who are trying to create a race situation im hoping the police send in the tag units and arrest them for inciting of riot or some other charge that means they can be banged up.
