It's a shit place to get to, a fucking terrible ground and the away section is prehistoric that makes Turf Moor and Goodison look like modern stadiums   That said I'm down in London a few times this

My feeling is there are two many picks already for us to be on, hope I'm wrong. Can see Southampton - Norwich, Lincoln - Ipswich and Newcastle (good for ratings) - Brum being earlier picks. Hopefully Burnley - Sunderland is not attractive to any TV boss!

Let's be fair mate, who the hell would have Palace v Bolton on telly except us lot ?

Not a fucking chance of it being on the box.

Really fancy this. Don't really wanna take a day off though. May risk leaving at 3pm

Where are you working? Luton?

Spose you could look at as it being fat sam disgraced England manager in his new job v his old club which would be an upset if they won

I won't be upset if we're not on but cant imagine it's less of a ratings winner than lincoln v ipswich

Been to Selhurst Park a few times over the years, it's so far south of London, they have Brighton as hated rivals.

Cheers Tomski. I'm gonna have to try to make it then

It's really a piece of piss, loads of stations as well. Best if you get the Overground. Although I must admit there's some weird routes on public transport. I live 4 miles away from Selhurst Park and it'll take me 40 minutes to get home.

Iamin +1 (Salford DMB that works for me :D )

Thinly veiled got meetings in London Tues/Weds.

Someone guide me from Euston as I'm staying there; I'm normally just pissed following the crowd

I seem to remember doing jäger in a pub just up the hill on the corner. Absolute shithole

Victoria line to Highbury and Islington and then the overground to West Croydon getting off at Norwood Junction is probably the quickest.

Just avoid the trams.

Thanks crawley ????????

Alternatively we went tube to Victoria

Then overground to whichever Norwood it is

Then a 20 minute walk

Yeah, that's also doable, it's just the the Overground (rather than the trains at Victoria) are a bit more frequent and quicker - you can get some right crawlers if you're not careful. I travel that way every night and it just depends on your connections to be fair. The Overground serves Thornton Heath and Norwood Junction so you have more choices as well. From getting off at Euston, should take under an hour.

It does seem daft to head North from Euston to go south but South London is a odd place to get round using public transport due to having no tube after Brixton. If you are just mooching in town, get to Canada water and you can pick up the same Overground line from there as well. There is also the added benefit of if you get the Overground line to West Croydon to get to go through Shadwell.

Love you Gumbo...

What's chances of getting train back from Euston after game 3-7% or 0%

Last train back still 11? Kick off at 8? If you pick up the connections, there are no delays, not much stoppage time and you peg it between stations, no problem ;-)

Unless it goes to extra time and penalties.
