First visit in town for me since 91, been the new ground but never went in the centre. Had some good days out there over the years, the surgical mask fans from the  1980 match was crazy.

Apart from Southend away, what a cracking set of away days left this season. Shrewsbury, Scuntshovellers, Oldham and Port Vale.

We could tell in the away end that it was a corking save. Iles was probably on the Dulux website.

3 Fishes on Fish St 

 

Shrewsbury is great but they used to shut most of the pubs when we arrived early in large numbers. One trip we stumbled upon the 3 Fishes which was still open & behaved so nicely that we were welcomed back later. Recommended........i think,

Think that's where were heading, a couple of other pubs nearby as well
