Possible Beamback(S)

If numbers warrant it, the club are exploring beambacks of Fleetwood, Scunthorpe and Southend games.

Bradford did it a couple of seasons back and Newcastle are for their upcoming game v Reading

It's a great idea but 10 quid to watch it!?! I was wondering why everyone didn't do it but if you've got to charge that then perhaps that's why... still it's got him loads of attention so mission accomplished

Indeed.

I did the West Brom play off semi one. It was just weird.

Bottom tier ?

Id pay a tenner to watch the Southend game and not have to go to Southend

I'd pay £10 for every away game I didn't attend it's a bargain.

Great idea! Espec for smaller games like Fleetwood where its fastest finger first.

Can someone explain to me what a beamback is? Sorry I'm on the young side.

I'm getting the idea that it is a tv put in our stadium of an away game?

You'd be correct.

We did it at Burnden 3 or 4 times in the 90's when folk couldn't get tickets.

Wolves and Derby cup matches plus united first season spring to mind.

Any more??

Did we do it for united when they only gave us minimal tickets?

Edit: read properly before replying. Sorry!

Just the 9 goals they scored against us that season :(

Budget wise we shouldn't be on same pitch.

We did at at the Reebok for the 1-0 Nolan win at Old Trafford.

I seem to remember watching one when Anelka and swp tore us a new one against the citizens.

A few seasons later we couldn't even sell our allocation there:(

At the high water mark we had 26k Bolton fans at home games, now we have 13k. I bet the missing 13k were the ones kissing the badges on their replica shirts and singing "Bolton till I die".

They will be back when we see some success again, pretending to have never been away.

Aye.

There were also plenty that just bobbed along for some premier league football. Know quite a few round here that did that. They flitted between us and Blackburn.

Sad cunts

The "I've come to see Michael Owen and David Beckham etc" brigade? Acting like they were doing us a favour.

Fuck. Off.

Looks like it's on

Everyone who said they would go better go

Behave, so what if they came to see "superstars" (for want of a better word) - next you'll be saying "we don't need fans like that"

The thing is, we need every fan through the turnstile that we can get.

Looks like it's on

Well done to the club on this. Hopefully it will be a decent turnout and not just 100 people.

Done right, it has decent potential.

It has potential but should only be done for sold out away games

If all games where like this a few hundred would end up in comfy seats and not travelling to away games

Where would the beamback be held?

How many could it accommodate?

Looks like it's on

massive well done to whoever has sorted it

really

top job
