I’ve just had a look at the board and one of the members is the person who used to come with us at Burnden. A fan for over 30 years so fair play.

Maggie has gone for a long time as has robin fletcher

My point is that they are ‘proper supporters’ Maggie is one of those near me, the other lives (or lived)Halifax away and does 95% of home games and saw her in Europe.

The ST is not for me and certainly is not the voice of all supporters but at least they are trying. In the early days with high numbers of people paying in I think they got caught up in their own importance.

What was part of the sponsorship package? Its usually a table and meal at the event and if it was who was sat at the table?

I think at the outset they really thought (and were told) they were going to be the voice of all supporters. I wonder now whether the exhuberance has worn off and they are just going through the motions.

I remember chucking £20 at the start of it, and that's it

I remember meeting with the old guy with a limp at Preston Bamber Bridge Sainsburys to talk formation of the trust. He was a weird guy

All I know is that if you question who they pay 10k a year to to keep their website runing you get your comments deleted 😇

In fairness, it's not always £10k.
It's actually about £1k less than they take in subs 😉
