Mounts Kipper Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 (edited) Prescott business park loan which was due for repayment soon, extended 12 months That's another rug pulled from under Smurf and his merry men Was never going to be an issue, to be fair Be interested to see what we do with Holdsworths legacy I’m hoping that these outstanding debts are dealt with and not just kicked further down the road at some stage we need to be dealing with the debt, however if blu marble gets sorted on time and the soft loan at a later date that would make sense. Failure to settle the blu marble would be a concern, given the money we received for Madine. Edited July 20, 2018 by Mounts Kipper Quote
Eavesy Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 We need money to settle the loans. We don’t have any. They will continue to be kicked down the road until we source some investment. The madine money has been spent on wages and running the club over the last 7 months. It’s gone. Without investment. We’ll need to sell another player in January and the end of the season to finance wages and running costs. Quote
Kane57 Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 That's a sobering thought. Who would we earn on in this squad? Can't think of many who'd bring in over a million quid Quote

Vela if he starts extremely well. Oztumer if he comes good, but he’ll be on the bench. Other than that. No one Quote

Not saying you're wrong but I'd be surprised if we are not close to break even Quote
barrycowdrill Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 Privvy to the current figures, are you? Not saying you're wrong but I'd be surprised if we are not close to break even Im sure i read somewhere previously Ken said the same taking in to account the Madine money. Whether that included the additional money they paid on promotion im not sure Also, not sure whether that includes scheduled loan repayments but we're certainly not far off. Wage bill will certainly have come down again from last season too Quote
Carlos Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 This time last year you wouldn't have got 6 quid for Madine. Things change. Quote

Not saying you're wrong but I'd be surprised if we are not close to break even I agree we must be close to break even now I cannot see KA running the club at a loss excluding the debts he inherited. bolton va va Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 No surprise that the ST should appear again just as Iles steps up his shit stirring against the club. Quote
barryk32 Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Shithouse. How is a tenner off Burden going to get them a say. 10 million possibly. Quote

Carlos Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 In one. They've maybe got enough to pay the wages for a couple of months. Most of the people knocking him won't shell out £35 for a match ticket, let alone put a six figure sum into the business (even if it's eventually recouped). Quote
MalcolmW Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Heard DJT say he was proud to be POTUS, but was giving it up to pursue a very special business opportunity in Bolton England. Then I woke up. Quote
