Well the link said 19,000 which was an increase of 21-24% on the same period twelve month previous. The increase in arrivals last year on the previous period was 26% so no real net increase.
There is an estimated 750,000 illegal migrants in the country.

And an increased use of hotels. 🤷🏻

Thats why it’s estimated.

Thames water’s estimates were for London.

He did last time out. He voted for Julie, a stellar candidate who didn’t realise that Sadiq Khan and Rishi Sunak were different people.

Do us a favour Mickey baby.

Don't bring up the subject of voting with our ginger ninja. There's a good lad.

Not good

Time to change the law.

More evidence of the same influences as in the banks within the judiciary and its environs.

Country needs a huge common sense wake up.

Didn't we have a Minister for Common Sense?

Hell hath no fury like an MP scorned. 😁

Reading about the reasons behind the spat; there is no doubt for me that initially it was set up as a protest party.

It's structure is gradually changing, as it moves from being a company to a formal political party like the others.

No doubt its success has been largely down to Farage, so it's perhaps right that he leads their gradual change.

Whether Lowe has legitimate concerns, and Farage is being slow to relinquish some power- who knows. Wouldn't be surprising.

Almost inevitable that such issues arise- a victim of their own success.

In which case, there couldn't be a greater example of the lack of common sense within so many of our institutions.

Not really - it was a expedient way to allow someone onto the news rounds to stoke up any culture war issue that was brewing that day. It had nothing to do with some spurious brief like 'common sense' or some perceived lack of it.

another crank, habib, clearly has a beef with the corrupt cunt (not sure which one i despise the most)

anyway, habib has been fact checked on his comments that farridge is once again being less than truthful

he still has the 'power' and control of the funds

Good good

Based on a report by David Lammy according  to the Times (not the Mail)

So much for the sentencing council being independent from politicians!

I can see a situation brewing where parliament starts to get to grips with the judiciary in a more fundamental way.

The instance of the lady chief justice criticising mps for their criticism of a ruling based on Ukrainian refugee rules opened up a lot of discussion.

She commented about how the judiciary should be independent from parliament etc, yet she sits in the House of Lords!

Rupert Lowe is a nasty chap.

Who’d a thunk it.
