What makes it worse is that these rebels will want people to believe they could potentially run the country. But despite KS being so weak there is no one who is a realistic alternative. Burnham need a MP in a safe seat in the North West to stand down , then a by election and if he wins then a leadership challenge can start. He is months from having a chance and with the chaos round the world we would be rudderless. People keep saying that Reform will mess up in the councils but if Labour is doing worse at national level that will be the story. The clamour for Burnham highlights how little talent Labour actually have, 

Remember the election ‘Country before party’

They are doing the things the Tories did wrong putting internal party politics ahead of the national interest. 
 

Total shambles and lack of leadership when we need so much better.

We're going to go through another leadership farce. The country are exhausted and people get sucked into voting for Reform or the Greens because, well fuck it. What does it matter anyway.

I work in an industry that is fundemtally predicated on disposible income. London is doing ok, high brow dramas in regions doing well, middle of the road entertainment stuff its really tough. Sales are later and later and family stuff outside cities dropping off a cliff.

I've been telling producers only go out (oe on tour) with those shows for 'recession proof' audiences ie older, mortage paid off, kids gone. Anything else is more investment - and when transport costs, living costs have risen and wages remain stangnent in most regional towns.

Honestly, the post industrial towns i understand voting Brexit - it matters not directly to their back pocket, but when businesses that employ them (who can't generally give a fig about them) start losing money, they are always the first against the wall.

We're finally learning that capitalists won't solve these issues; and im a small business owner - i try and make the most money for me - but our business just paid over 40k in tax as we do every quarter i understand its a pot. I take nothing out and give in but we cant just exisit on capitalism
