That same day at WHL, Arsenal were playing Orient at Chelsea in an FA Cup semi final, with a crowd of 49, 698 on. Spurs fans to this day are still crowing saying a Div 2 side had a better crowd on that afternoon.

Biggest crowd I went on at BP was the Man U V Leeds 2nd replay in 70, some sources gave 55,000, the papers said 60.000 at the time.

I was at that one close to a fair proportion of Warbys mob. They weren't allowing any liberties to be taken and were certainly leaning towards dirty Leeds being successful :D

Fantastic how this thread has now morphed into a football thread, also quite alarming that at the same time remoaners have disappeared like a snowflake when the sun breaks through. Ain’t life swell.,

They'll be lurking mate - just waiting for any tiny morsel of bad news to be able to say 'I told you so'.

Army leave been cancelled yet?

They’ll be lurking all right, not on football thread though have the likes of ST ever commented on BWFC matters.

No, no, no.........I'm not having that. I'm sure he once complained about buttered hot dogs?

Oh yes, they'll be back once a single job loss is reported, yet won't comment on the current unemployment rates.

Imagine if they lived in the 80's and early 90's when ITV News at Ten did that weekly round up of jobs created and jobs lost around Britain. Christ, those negative Nancy boys would be in hysterical heaven.

Very interesting article, thought Brexit had strengthened the remaining EU countries believe in the EU, it’s also interesting how the shoe is now on the other foot, they need a deal they need our money more than ever, perhaps we do hold the cards and Maggie Tate was right after all ...... who’d have thought it.

It’s quite clear that it’s now very important for the survival of the union that they secure our money and that means a very good deal for the U.K. we’d of been here 3 years ago without TM, Hammond and the remoaners. (Good name for a band) 😂

Andrew Neil was interesting yesterday when he interviewed the ally of Macron, she knows they have to give us a good deal.

Quite fitting he mentioned the French strikes, Italy's financial problems, same with Germany. The EU are not in a strong enough position now to play hard ball. We've been saying that for ages.

I put it up the other day mate.

The chinky virus though is starting to cause problems re car production etc. That's not good for the EU or us.

Sorry I must of missed it. The chinky virus is short term issue.... hopefully, the big problem is the phasing out of petrol and diesel vehicles.

The pessimists parting shot was we'd need a deal with the EU , that's hardly a problem now with the troubles they're facing.

Like you say mate, one bit of sun, and they all vanish into the dark shadows. Sad really after all their negative spouting for three and half years. Talk about bad losers 😉💣
