And folk don’t move if they’ve kids? New one on me that. 👍🏼

Sorry, but that's just wrong.

I'm in the south east now because I have kids, would have loved to have moved to Manchester or Glasgow now not office based, but not happening.

You make these decisions with them the first, second and last thing in your mind.

What you want doesn't massively come into it.

So it’s wrong yes? Of course it would be 🙄

pretty sure I know of a poster on here who’s grandkids now live on the opposite side of the world. But must be false as people don’t move with kids. Pretty sure they made that decision With their kids best interests at heart.

just because YOU have decided that not everybody follows.

will also go and tell my next door neighbour he hasn’t really moved here 😂

Shall I tell him he’s imagined them moving here with their children or that they’re shit parents? Let me know. Ta

I love the states but one thing, and it’s a big thing, that would put me off is yanks! They’re a special breed

Special indeed. Saw a chap carrying a gun in a coffee place with a T-shirt that said

“I kneel for my commanding officer or to suck a dick and that’s it”

Also a woman the wrong side of 20 stones carrying her bumbag (fannypack) inside of her leggings. Reached in got out the money and handed it to the cashier. He didn’t even blink.
Wouldn’t live there for all the tea in China

Back to the original point I made NIC which you are actually reinforcing. If you thought the UK was unbelievably shit and hated living here and you had kids and you had the opportunity to move somewhere else , somewhere better for your kids, you would do it yes?

I don't mind the UK, i like living here

I imagine all the things I don't like about living here would also be apparent in pretty much every other country

I also can't be arsed learning another language

Beat country in the world.

Cracking the flags out there today.

none of you come on here day in day out saying how shit the uk is 😂

I love Britain, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

Run at the moment by cunts but that won't be forever.

I love visiting different countries but I think Blighty will always be home. Never say never though...

I spent 2 years on Oz and had the opportunity to stay. Ultimately wasn't for me. Feels like they're so desperate to distance themselves from the UK that they've become the USA part two.

The weather was nicer - and it was less expensive to get a bigger house. But I prefer the UK in every conceivable way apart from that if I'm honest.

Mick comes close, and fairly soon the eight legged one will have convinced himself that anywhere in the world is better than here.

Plenty of firemen i worked with upped sticks regularly for their next promotion. (And thus next payrise)

It entirely depends if you want to keep your kids where they are or allow them to have as comfortably wealthy life as you can give them.

Funny you say that about the houses. I’ve got an uncle in Perth and he bought the land about 20 years ago and it was dirt cheap built the house for next to nothing. He said to buy now it’s still decent but people moving there to buy is driving up prices.
Another uncle lives in Vancouver and they’ve just passed a law to stop new residents to the country buying houses to stabilise the housing market.

You’re wrong. None of this happened. Apparently 🙄

I've never said it was shit. It's clearly not shit. But I think there are clearly better places to live.

I think Mick lives in a large house, says he’s well educated, obviously has a very good standard of living, and still he moans, despite what the country has done for him.

Don’t worry though he’ll stop moaning when Labour get in power and utopia arrives.

I've a good life.

And what I've got I've got myself -the country handed me fuck all sunshine.

I don't moan. I'm just disappointed with cunts. There's a difference.
