Blame Brexit.

Or racists

Or the boat folk...

We've absolutely screwed everyone by printing every currency into oblivion to handle covid.

We ain't getting "government bail outs" for the banks

It's the government that need bailing out.

I see the party of sound financial management have taken us into a recession again.

Marvelous work!

I'm not a liz Truss fan. Or sunak.

Or any cunt anymore really.

But videos like this piss me off... Let's show a one sided witty put down and cut out before they have the chance to answer.

In all honesty given what I know of Truss off here they'd be better served showing the full unedited version or her answer.

But that video is like me saying "mick, you've been a wanderers fan all your life, supported us all over, proper hate United and your dead against red seats int east lower even though they've been there since 1997.. What are your thoughts...?"

Mick Brown: "well..."

True. I'd have loved to see her bullshit through an answer to that.

Boom bust cycle had the economy to crash in 2025/2026, It's been dragged forward due to the war in Ukraine. THe 2025 bust was predicted years back.

You're not one to follow normal economics, are you?

It's this sort of nonsense people shouldn't swallow, but sadly they do.

What planet are some of you on? The worldwide problem is clear and obvious. Two problems if you throw in the repercussions of Covid.

It would be a perfect time to hand government over to Labour as their habitual economic incompetence wouldn't feel as bad amidst the worldwide economic mayhem.

I see Sir Keir of the Proletariat is in bother regarding his financial dealings.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/keir-starmer-mp-code-of-conduct-breach-b2138481.html

All them union lads paying much of his way must be delighted that he's doing so well. Fucking hypocrites. "A victory for the true believers" is the usual mantra on the odd occasion they take power. True believers in terraced houses with a few pints of bitter for entertainment whilst he and his band of deceivers live like royalty.

A Tory will fuck you over - I agree. But they'll look you in the eye and tell you they are going to do it so when you vote for them you get what you bought into.

Once the reds get in however, the one eyed black lesbians against the bomb and other fringe groups will have a small window for milking the public purse until sanity and common sense (conservatism) return. There is always a silver lining for someone.

Tories have been blaming labour for the global financial crash in 2008 so ….

I think that was the case historically, recently less so. The reason Johnson is going and that the party are tanking is that they're being caught out left, right and centre for "looking us in the eye" and telling us one thing and then doing something completely different

There's still time for them to turn it around before there is a GE, and hopefully they can, but the more I see of Truss (assuming she becomes PM) the less convinced I am that she's up to it, and I dread to think what her cabinet could end up looking like.

I'm worried that at the next GE, whenever that is, that The Tory Party could do the almost impossible task of losing an 80 seat majority  -  even as a dyed in the wool Conservative @bolty58 you must admit that would be an absolutely spectacular failure, especially given how weak the opposition currently is

Johnson, ultimately could be responsible for allowing a Labour & SNP Coalition to run the show.......

That wouldn't happen but it would be comedy gold.

Aye, he's in proper bother. He even has to go to a meeting. 😲

Ms Stone said the eight breaches "were minor and/or inadvertent", and "there was no attempt to mislead".

But she has asked Sir Keir to meet the registrar of members' financial interests to discuss his obligations within Parliamentary rules - which he will do on on 25 August.

There won't be an SNP/Labour coalition. Another load of bollocks people swallow from Conservative HQ.

I agree it probably wouldn't happen - but Labour could find themselves having a minority Government, and needing the assistance of the Scotchers to get things through........fucking hell, that sounds so bad

Unless the Tory’s suffer a totally unrealistic loss of seats, there is no way without Scotland that Labour can ever win an overall majority so it’s not bollocks at all. There won’t be enough Libs so the only other option would be the SNP which would be a complete disaster given their likely demands which Labour would accept given their desperation to hold power. Fortunately, despite the Tory’s ills, the prospect of that happening would in itself ensure Labour don’t win.

I'm glad that you're confident the Conservatives will win....I just can't see how they'll get a majority at present. There is time for them to turn the tide though, but they need to get a wriggle on, and hope whoever they choose isn't as bad as they appear to be at the minute

I'd think we're looking at a Labour minority government, supported by, but not in coalition with the Libs and SNP

This is why senior Labour strategists are urging the leadership to make the case more clearly at the conference that Labour will not ever enter into a pact with the SNP (they don't need Scotland to overturn a majority - that's another bit of fluff the Tories like to put out there)

Despite being clear on the position, at the conference Starmer is likely to offer a procedural guarantee against any deal, which will include a motion to the party's conference. That is a clear commitment, and one which is done to finally but this issue to bed in a run up to a GE.

Honestly, the SNP are so far from what the Labour party is about, they are a Nationalist party - all their talk of a 'progressive coalition' is nonsense.

Its a strategy (and it seems quite an effective one) lead by the Tories to plant concerns in the minds of English voters - which is why this - and the consititual reform policy (now delayed until september) will be one of the key issues at the conference, and certainly during the election campaign.

It is bollox. I thought it was the case but the Scottish seats are very rarely decisive.

If you say the same thing long enough people will believe it.

Also Labour have been total shite in the past at quashing this before it starts to take hold. Let's hope they have learnt their lessons.

Can someone put a picture of a fishing rod in response to this for me please?

I'm not sure how to post images?

Thanks in advance....... 😁
