So your saying Germany were in the EU but still commanded their own authority on immigration??.

He's not saying that, I don't think.

He's just jealous that the German government and general public are more intelligent then ours.. ...and he's not wrong. They're the dominant economic power in Europe and will be for years to come. The EU suits them at present, when it doesn't, they'll drop it.

In reality, Europe is made up, in the main, of the 4 major countries. Us leaving makes Germany massively stronger. We'll regret that one day (in my opinion)

So we do have a say in EU matters?

Make your mind up. :D

Labour Party.....dead, hopefully. Should have died years ago. Who the fuck has ever voted for that set of cocks

Didn't have a say in the Germans at last minute reinstating quotas they fucked us over big time along with Blair and co and as always the Germans play by their own rules.

So do you agree, in a perfect world, it might have been better or safer to elect a strong leader/ party to stand up for our rights in the EU and help forge big decisions like we have in the past?

Do you agree that we could if we wanted, behave like Germany have in gaining their own authority and doing what they wanted and remain in the EU?

Germany run the EU for Germany, they call the shots and we've decided were not playing their game anymore, it's time to get out of the cartel and stand on our own 2 feet and I'm confident we will be all the better for it.

The mental gymnastics you keep performing is almost impressive.

Not weird...

But in years to come, believe me, nobody will admit to voting out

Course he is

Cos we are British, sorry English, and better than Johnny foreigner

Moral high ground again. It's ingrained.

Seems to me that our forefathers who stood up to German domination may have given up much (in some cases everything) for nought if the pandering Remoaners on here are anything to go by.

Happy to just retain the status quo and let Germany prosper at the expense of all other EU members.

No one will regret voting to leave. It's just that the younger end have no experience of a great and independent Britain and are shitting themselves at not being able to hang on to der Vaterland's coat tails as they have never experienced their own country standing on its own two feet.

In time, once the global trade deals have bedded in and the UK is flourishing, attitudes will change as the fear of those with little or no experience of not being an EU member disappears and they realise what has been achieved.

Just before any fucker (like fromage face Firthy) starts, let it be clear that, once this is all over and the UK is a settled and prosperous independent European country again, I shall be jumping on a plane to observe the new, improved Britain close up.

From Spain

Could we not stand up to Germany and remain in the EU though?

Doesn't really feel like we are standing up to anybody to be honest. Feels like we think have been bullied out of the gang and we are taking our ball and going home.

Like I say, we could have made stand and not left.

Make no mistake, the vast majority of the public voted out to sort out immigration and some bollocks about rules and sovereignty.

All of which we could have made a stand and stood up to Germany if you will , all without leaving the EU. Seeing as we played a major part in all the things people are so against.

Spot on. It's been a waste of time and money

Bit difficult; we have democratically voted to leave

Bit difficult; we have democratically voted to leave

Aye. Needs to be done now for that reason but over time I think this will be looked back at as unnecessary and why folk voted for it, little will have been achieved

Spot on. It's been a waste of time and money

Thank you. I knew you'd agree.

How many times do you have to be told Cameron went cap in hand to the EU and had to come back with a cock and bull story that he had secured a deal which we all know was bollocks. No one believed Cameron's spin (The EU offered nothing not believing the UK had the bottle to vote to leave:)) and the Majority decided to call a close to the EUs (Germany) game and that's why we're leaving, the British public or at least those in the MAJORITY voted to leave and leave we will. You'll see when it actually happens that it's ok it's not a car crash the worlds not ended the sky's not fallen in and we will have our own set of cards that we can play with. You'll wonder why you were desperate and pleading to cling to Merckels petticoat.

PS and we get our blue passports back. ????????????

And believe it or not, we can democratically change our minds.

Could we not stand up to Germany and remain in the EU though? No. The Leave vote was larger than the Remain vote.

Doesn't really feel like we are standing up to anybody to be honest. Feels like we think have been bullied out of the gang and we are taking our ball and going home. No, that would be slinging our hook ("hard Brexit") with no deal which could still happen but is unlikely. If those Franco German bastards think they can bully the UK for more money etc. it is then they should be told to fuck off, hard Brexit it is and the rest of the world becomes the focus.

Like I say, we could have made stand and not left. Majority wanted out. Some Brussels bureaucrat deciding what happens in Bradford, Bolton or Bideford is neither right nor desirable.

Make no mistake, the vast majority of the public voted out to sort out immigration and some bollocks about rules and sovereignty. It is anything but bollocks. Control of our own laws is vital. Remember, we created the rules by which most of the free world lives by. It is something we are very good at.

We played a major part in saving the world from German domination once before. In the fullness of time it will be realised the UK did it again.

Even if we leave we'll be back in by 2050, after we've been on the bones of our arse thirty years and the majority of the Brexshiteers have pegged it...

Only this time we'll have to sign up to the Shingay treaty, the Euro, we'll have to let loads off Turkish nonces have free roam to sponge of us (Turkey being full members) and we'll have to let Germany only sell us cars and pencils and tractors - despite having miles better deals on offer from the likes of Ghana.

What a clusterfuck to enjoy in our dotage (meaning us young, dynamic, foreign-girl-shagging, cosmopolitan and handsome remainers - all the Brexshiteers will be deed or terminally bewildered by then...)

Edited by Youri McAnespie

Oh well, at least Mounts and Bolty get to spend the last decade or so of their lives pretending they were in a war against Germany. That's what Brexit really means to them. It is purely psychological. Fuck reality.

This vote has nothing to do with our forefathers imo. They fought for our freedom from a brutal regime. This is completely different.

Referring to your point on creating our own rules, I think it's been pointed out that we have done or could of done throughout the EU process has it not?

Some changes would be good, agreed but being in or out of the EU I feel this could be/have been achieved. So again I feel the whole exercise has been a waste of time and money.

We need a separate thread discussing Brexit and all the childish insults can stay on this one.

Saddest most defeatist post ever, nothing short of pathetic.
