Seems like fuck up by the Labour Party there's s shock. Read free movement issues. But compounded by the Germans last minute decision to keep quotas in place.

Sorry mate but your arguement is contradictory.

How could it be a fuck up by Labour if we had no say or control ?

So either it was the fault of the EU or you are saying we did have control.

We all know we did some say in this and the fucking idiots running the Labour Party ignored it.

Blunkett was interviewed as part of the program he said we messed up we used statisticians results based on the Germans also accepting Eastern bloc workers, then at last minute Germans changed their mind and the statisticians calculations went to shit, blunkett said we were aware Germans changed policy but labour government didn't react and blunkett admitted he was at fault as he was in charge of that department. Sadly it does not suprise me Labour had dereliction of duty at that time, obviously that's only my opinion, sadly I was one of those who voted them into power.????

Seems to me that our forefathers who stood up to German domination may have given up much (in some cases everything) for nought if the pandering Remoaners on here are anything to go by.

Happy to just retain the status quo and let Germany prosper at the expense of all other EU members.

No one will regret voting to leave. It's just that the younger end have no experience of a great and independent Britain and are shitting themselves at not being able to hang on to der Vaterland's coat tails as they have never experienced their own country standing on its own two feet.

In time, once the global trade deals have bedded in and the UK is flourishing, attitudes will change as the fear of those with little or no experience of not being an EU member disappears and they realise what has been achieved.

Just before any fucker (like fromage face Firthy) starts, let it be clear that, once this is all over and the UK is a settled and prosperous independent European country again, I shall be jumping on a plane to observe the new, improved Britain close up.

From Spain  : :lol::

I suspect it is more that the younger generation live in real 2017. Not some sort of alternative universe where it's permanently 1950.

What would you know? Have your balls even dropped yet?

Have you ever left Bolton and seen the world?  (not fucking holidays - lived and worked overseas and experienced different cultures).

'Real world' where folk get outraged over a Dove advertisement where the Nigerian origin (?) model involved wishes the company had defended itself instead of meekly apologising to wankers who are the true racists (i.e. they think that way whereas normal folk saw no offence - only a string of pretty girls rather than different races). You can fucking well keep all that 'brave new world' shit matey. You and Kane57 would probably get on like a house on fire - that's if you both actually ventured beyond your front door.

You could have at least said the 60's - a decade I managed to live through (and am very grateful that I did).

Edge away quickly - it would be better for both of us. No wonder Smiffs etc. fucked off.

It's like dealing with kindergarten playground bullies on here sometimes. Too afraid to step out of their comfortable EU rut so join forces against anyone who doesn't toe the line. Laughable.

Luckily, 52% weren't too afraid to take a stand. An indisputable fact.

Kindergarten bullies?

We were having a pretty level debate. Good to get varied opinions and hear mounts and BD's views.

Then you wade in like uncle knobhead spouting about forefathers and the 60's after a few too many pints of bombardier.

....if you can't handle a reasoned debate then you know where the door is sonny, Go join Magie tetlow and caress each others egos.

37.4% of the electorate voted to leave.

And yes, I know folk are within their rights not to know or care one way or the other.

But still.

Everyone I know who didn't vote said they would've voted 'remain' - so I reckon technically the 'remains' have it.

Rerun it and make voting mandatory.

Other wise known as a majority of those who voted, how else do you want democracy to work?

Let it go its a done deal were leaving and life is good.

I'm not arsed, I'll probably shack up with some French, German or Italian girl anyway to hedge my bets...

Anyhow, like I wrote before, if we even leave, we'll rejoin eventually, roll on 2050 I say.

Woah. Didn't expect to have touched such a nerve. I get it, you don't like change. You talk about living through the 60's which was one of the most dramatic periods of social change ever.

The younger generation have more tolerance and less bigotry. I'd have thought that could only be a good thing.

Also if you read the full version of what that model said, it puts a very different slant on it. The issue lies in the shortened version of the ad, that was on Facebook etc...did anyone really think a short ad with no context showing a black woman morph into a white woman was a good idea? The full ad, is totally fine. The shortened internet version that caused the outcry...absolutely not.

Far from being a victory, leaving the EU will be the last act of mainstream right-wing politics for a long, long time. Corbyn, or a Corbyn type, winning the next election is a certainty imo. And them closed borders are going to be more open than ever, irrespective. Cheers lads.

Not sure Corbyn will win, but I can't see the Tories winning either. It'll be a mess with some sort of coalition of chaos in charge. The problem with Brexit - beyond the obvious - is that it has left the centre ground of politics uninhabitable for the moment. Everyone associates centrist policy with neoliberal EU ideals...which is nonsense. But nobody is brave enough to go there so we're going back to lurching from one extreme to another politically now.

Within 6 months of a Corbyn win it would quickly become apparent to the young of today what a dropped bollock that voting for him was but thats how democracy works. Anyhow I will sit back and observe from afar.

We had a decade of Blair, despite him being a similar conman.

Within 6 days it was apparent to everyone what a dropped bollock voting Leave was, but some still refuse to accept reality. What makes you think deluded Corbyn worshippers are going to be any less ignorantly ardent than yourself?

In arrear

I don't recall people moaning about the rules beforehand

People have complained about the decisions made by the electorate since time began. And have often complained about the process.

It isn't a shock that given near half the population thinks the decision to be a major mistake that people are complaining about that decision. Most don't think it was undemocratic, just a bad decision based on appalling misinformation and critical lack of understanding. That's an opinion that in a democratic society people can express as often and for as long as they like.

For sure

Oh well, at least Mounts and Bolty get to spend the last decade or so of their lives pretending they were in a war against Germany. That's what Brexit really means to them. It is purely psychological. Fuck reality.

"Fuck reality"?, don't think handing over £350mill a WEEK of the UK's money to some unelected buerocrat's to spend on plush offices in Brussels or trying to keep Greece afloat or any of the east European basket country's is not psychological in my world
