Vietnam or Cambodia.

Do a month or so in Thailand & The Philippines, but will be back in the UK for July/August and maybe Xmas too re the kids etc.

Waiting for the youngest to finish Uni.

The people are amazing, the weather is beautiful, it’s cheap as chips and it’s not woke.

They are rightly proud of their countries too, with national flags displayed everywhere.

A great thing to see.

All 4 have a higher murder rate than the UK.

Not as bad as some areas, but still a bit grim

Nice one. Have you seen our mutual pal Stuart over there? He has married Cambodian girl 30 years his junior. Saw him at the match pre Christmas.

I hope he's in his 60's or 70's, otherwise that's a bit creepy and smacks of "bought and paid for"

Feel far far safer than I ever do in the UK, especially these days.

Never had one ounce of myther after around 50 trips.

Amazed me why people still to try to protect the UK.

Its fucked and Hod only knows where it will be in another decade.

Must admit, both places are very much on my "to do" list

I'm not sure I agree that the UK is "fucked" but it is going down hill - as a nation, we've probably had our time, and  our standing on the world stage is  slowly diminishing, but I'd not go as far as to say it's fucked. It might well be in 30/40 years, but I'll probably be dead by then, so don't really care :)  - as and when I can retire though, I'll certainly not be spending any winters over here, fuck that

Re-locating to Vietnam/Cambodia, with the occassional trip to Thailand and the Phillipines. A route well-trodden by disgruntled old-aged Englishmen with a few quid to spend in their twilight years...

Yes give them a try, easily do both in a 2 week trip.

Its the UK kids I feel for.

I wouldn’t be surprised if mine leave the UK too at some point.

Hope they do, but it’s their life and all I can do is show them other cultures & countries.

Must admit I'd be on the first plane out of here If I could and I'll be promoting my kids to get out and see the world when they are older.

Get the fuck out of here. Its a sinking ship.

Of those 4 I’ve only been to the Philippines. 24 hour layover in Manila. It was grim as fuck
