I had to laugh when I saw that on the lunchtime news... reminded me of a mouse that the missus kept catching and putting out into the garden... she was convinced we had an epidemic until I pointed out it was the same one... in the end I drove 2 miles up the road and dumped him in a field.

Maybe we should dump these buggers a bit further away.

Do the traffickers have some sort of warranty? Free boat if you get sent back?

🤣

there is a bit more context to be fair. 19 were sent back Sunday as part of the scheme. This is just one person and at least he’s been caught. It is picking up, but I doubt how effective it will be unless the numbers are much bigger.

The fella’s reasoning seemed pretty bonkers. Said he didn’t feel safe in France due to the smugglers. Well don’t fckn associate yourself with them mate, you’ve been sent back to claim asylum in France. Hopefully it’s a swift return.

Unless someone finds a way to limit or stop the boats setting off, or safely taken back… (without scrapping all our human rights laws)… then Farage & his cronies will get in. It’s a shame it dominates politics ahead of other serious issues. But the numbers have become crazy & folk are right to be concerned.

The one in one out deal is going down well 🤦🏻🤦🏻 what an embarrassment. There were folk on here saying this was a good idea, 😂😂

One in one out was/is right up there with "Smash the Gangs" and "Stop the Boats"  -  massive waste of time, that was never going to make any difference. They'll never, ever be stopped, unless we ensure it's not attractive to come here

if he's travelled from Iran he must have made his first landfall in Italy or Turkey which are safe EU or pending EU countries, we should have sent him back there, just like the little mouse that I sent as far away as possible.

I agree to a point, the problem is that we wouldn't be able to work out which one of those he arrived in initially, so I'm sure neither of them will want/take him - we can prove he came from France though, so I guess that's the cheapest easiest place to send him back to.......although like your mouse, that makes it easier to return once more

I’m not the Gary Lineker when it comes to mice tbh. Can’t stand them in the home.

I go full Farage & get them exterminated

It's pretty simple. Pro-Palestine marches don't tend to result in violent disorder, while Far-Right 'mass deportation' protests do.

And we used to be able to until Brexit fucked that shit up

Free Speech is great until you don’t like what’s being said, lads.

Still, he knows how to grow concrete so he can make billions doing that instead, the fat fucking wanker.

Believe it or not I agree with you. I don’t think though it invalidates my post about the murky background behind Reform.

The country is crying out for a strong leader who can not only “do the right thing” ….. but also has principles, morals and standards and is committed to public service. I’m still looking.

Exactly where I’m at. The man on the Clapham omnibus in political terms. With no particular party affiliation I’m still looking as well

Don’t think he ever has….under Starmer.  An out and out Corbynite.  Hopefully he’ll defect to Corbyn’ new dead-end party.

Reform forgot about that silent majority

Your strong leader aint going to be found in the Westminster elite.... they're all to self absorbed playing their internal power games and tossing out little snippets to the. hoi polloi by social media to demonstrate how "connected" they are.

In my view, we need to move towards a "Deliberative Democracy", get rid of Westminster and decentralise.

I struggle with links on my tablet but Wikipedia describes Deliberative Democracy if you're interested.
