Your strong leader aint going to be found in the Westminster elite.... they're all to self absorbed playing their internal power games and tossing out little snippets to the. hoi polloi by social media to demonstrate how "connected" they are.

In my view, we need to move towards a "Deliberative Democracy", get rid of Westminster and decentralise.

I struggle with links on my tablet but Wikipedia describes Deliberative Democracy if you're interested.

A Piers Morgan / Andrew Neil type character is required 😉

Reform were expecting to romp home in the Caerphilly by election yesterday but came second to Plaid Cymru. Labour have held that seat for 100 years apparently.

Lots of tactical votes to keep Reform out as well.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot of that come the next election. Or even a left coalition against them. Similar things have worked across Europe.

They’re also making a shit show of themselves in the Kent council.

But if the left fragments then Reform should get a majority. Which I reckon will happen.

It’s astonishing whats happening to Labour & the Tories.

I wonder if we saw 'peak Reform' at about the time of the flag protest?

I still think they will do well at the next election. I just hope not as well as some of the predictions.

Next time around could be one of the most interesting and meaningful races for a long, long time. Especially with a resurgence of support for the Greens.

There are probably 3 more summers until the next General Election. Flag shaggers tend to be fair-weather "protesters"...

whatever you think of flags, £500 per flag seems rather extravagant.

Not if it includes the pole, and full-time emplyment of an immigrant to regularly clean up all the jizz at the base.

Starmer proven correct again. He really is a boring bastard who just happens to know what he's talking about. GET HIM OUT! WE WANT DAILY CHAOS AGAIN!

This is the same Reform Council who recently banned the press from their meetings

The key thing there is where Labour came. If the alarm bells still aren't ringing yet then they are even more incompetent than I already believed them to be.

Reforms share of the vote exploded - tactical voting was all that stopped them. It won't next year when PR comes in.

If that happens with the track record of that spacktard of a leader then the UK really is fucked.

I don't know much about him to be honest. But he seems to be getting lots of air time over here.

He speaks well - but I've not actually heard him talk about policy yet.

Anyway - he's Jewish I found out today - so you're no longer able to criticise him about anything or you'll be labelled an anti-semite 😉

I might have made that up

I don't care. Anyone who tries to convince flatdicks he can make their tits bigger with hypnotherapy should be sectioned.

As I think about it, I should shut the fuck up. A vote for the Greens is one less for Labour.

Vote Green, you know it makes sense.

I hope he's been banned from that game too?

Apparently it's a safety issue.

Is that true? Fucking hell 🤣

Although perhaps loads of women with big knockers walking around the place might be the very thing that we can all finally unite around.

What we are seeing is the breakdown of two party politics. Reform will only reach so far. But also, the Welsh vote is always left of centre historically.

The next national election will be a watershed, the start of a new way this country has to govern.

Reform won't be the biggest party bumy any stretch- thats a little dramatic, but the big beasts of party politics will both get bloody noses.

The Tories got 2% yesterday- and yes its Wales - but thats not national party numbers.

“The UK”

you’re slipping.

”we”

you’re a “we” remember?

Not sure they were expected to "romp".

Perhaps favourites.

There was significant tactical voting, with many Labour voters switching to Plaid.

Perhaps this will be repeated elsewhere, and will be a wake up call to the traditional parties, and Reform too.

They have had a meteoric rise, with few set-backs, and longer term they now know they can't rest on their laurels.

The immigration issue really is the current, big issue of the day.

When so many abandoned their own, in order to prevent another with different immigration ideals, it says everything.
