But the defence ‘others were doing stuff’ is a strange one. One minute he is saying I never did it, then I might have but it was not hateful, now it is others were naughty too.

My other half lived in Glasgow for a decade. Her best mates were Polish. Their kids are dual language speakers and the eldest has just started her history degree at Leeds Uni.

They came over with nothing and have contributed more than they ever took.

Can anyone on here who supports him give us a clue about how long needs to pass before we can dismiss “the past” as relevant?

I’m not hopeful of a straight answer but thought I’d ask.

Im no fan or supporter of his, but we lived in different times then and these are just allegations. Remember Jeremy Corbyn was allowed to run for PM after shagging Diane Abbott. No amount of time can cover that!
