Tomorrow I'm going to Pembroke Christmas Market/Fair.

Lots of nice food, drinks and gifts will be on sale within the castle walls.

Problem is most will be claimed to be HOMEMADE.

@Cheese should I dispute this?

Maybe ask the cake sellers if the flour they're using was cleaned, grinded down and and sifted by themselves.

Do those selling meat items do all the butchering 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe ask the beers sellers if they produced their own glass bottles. Did they use a highly automated melting and molding process using raw materials like silica sand, soda ash, and limestone in their garage.

It cant be homemade can it mate?

We packed in the so called "Craft Markets" long ago... missus is a proper glass worker and most of the so called handmade stuff is all Chinese tat... enjoy your day... keeps the Suez Canal in use

But part of the problem are people making their fortunes outside our boundaries but still trading here thereby evading taxation that contributes to maintaining our society... Amazon, Musk, Costa and so on.

Aye, they are clever at avoiding tax.

What gets me is folk who live or work in a city or town centre going to Costa over a local independent place struggling to compete who almost always offer better coffee and service.

Ignore who posted it, quite ironic really 😉

Cheese, unsurprisingly, has had one of the worst mares on here for a long while. He’s truly highlighted what  a complete simpleton he is.

Used to love the Manchester Christmas markets back in the early 00s when they were solely on Albert Square and the vendors were from around Europe

Bloke from the Netherlands with his cheeses and a German guy doing great deals on bags of various sausage etc

The turning point was when I went to a Nottingham market found the hand made craft ornaments to be exactly the same as what was on offer in Manchester

Then the authentic paella was being made by a couple from Hulme

Whilst walking around the markets was so cramped and slow paced I felt like was being marched en masse to a gas chamber

I'll go ... I do every year. Never buy much. I find everything expensive for what it is.

Talking of glass works ... Bought a few pieces of these in the past.

Proper decent stuff. Can watch them make products in their little shop.

Beth Rigby along with Laura K can fuck right off they sat on their hands and let Boris and Co fuck the country over especially during Covid with weaker challenges then you would get with a midfield of Larry Grayson, Duncan Norvelle and Alan Carr.

Fishing and winding people has been replaced by people simply adding new definitions to words saying it is nuanced.

Surely thou art mistaken RW?

Definitely easier than shootin’ fish.

The Don and our Nige. The gifts/grifts that keep on giving. Too easy.

No, you shouldn't dispute it, otherwise you will come across as extremely fucking thick. Which, unfortunately, you do appear to be.

So do the opposite of what you've done ... Got it 👍🏻

They're not actually handmade by themselves are they?

They're clearly using oxygen and fuel based heating appliances that have been been bought and purchased off somebody else.

Plus all the electricity, gas and water comes from an outside source plus their raw products will be supplied.

No better than the Chinese.

Fuckin charlatans :)

See, reading that, it seems to me that he wants the nation to be more heavily involved in crypto, and has given a speech about it. 😀

If someone wants to pay him for it, fine. He declared it.

Not sure I am as convinced about the crypto bollocks, but that's my personal feelings about it.

Absolutely nothing about it that suggests any wrong doing, even if it is meant to suggest there is.

Now then, how many other mps also earn money and declare it in the register of interests? Eventually.

Too much of a coincidence for me. £30k to give a talk (fine - no problem if someone is daft enough to pay that), but then to appear to lobby on behalf of the interests of that group? As a minimum the optics are wrong, at worse, well….

Got to be better than that or else we continue towards US politics where most of the politicians are as bent as a ten bob note, funded by lobbyists.

I think too many have forgotten it’s public service not self service.
