So you're clearly in the pollsters' demographic.

He is still quite young for a leave voter

33% of over 65s eligible to vote chose Remain.

The only age-bands with higher Remain turnouts were 25-34 (36%) and 35-44 (37%).

27% of under 25s chose Remain but 64% didn't bother to vote.

The turnout got progressively higher with age-group but all groupings above age 45 had more Leave than Remain.

Pound has hit a new high

Spain and Holland are pushing for the EU to get a good deal sorted with the UK.

A new high? This year or something

£1 gets you $1.37 or €1.13

That’s hardly going to get folk rushing out for holiday brochures

I'm trying to cheer Mounts up

Spain wanting a good deal from the Brits - who account for a third of their economy - is hardly a surprise.

Get the Germans onside and Mounts will wank himself into a coma

When I worked in Manchester I caught the train in town and the alkys on Newport Street were always in good spirit in the morning, excitedly cracking open their first bottles of the day.

Walk passed them on the way home and the same tramps would give you a load of pissed up abuse.

What do you expect acting all high and mighty and holier and thou - walking, working, being sober, wearing shoes...

I’m not in the least bit suprised as I’ve said all along It’ll all be fine it was never going to end badly, cue ST with his tedious woe woe predictions.

All propaganda is good if it fits your cause.

Well the propaganda about the UK's output must be sending you Remoaners fucking apoplectic then.

A 6 year high eh? How anyone can listen to yesterdays men like Bliar is beyond me,

Blind Freddie can see what's going to happen. The UK brand is too strong to be thrown off axis by punitive actions by faceless Brussels bureaucrats. They might be able to bully Greeks and other southern European sun worshippers who don't fancy a bit of hard graft but they'll find the UK a far tougher nut to deal with.

Making our own trade deals around the world without the stultifying rules and regulations of a bureaucratic monolith will see us grow and prosper at a rate above and beyond (by some way) what the doom mongers predicted.

Why, if this carries on, you can look forward to me coming home. Now wouldn't that be all of your Christmas's coming at once for some of you  :D

Ace. I need to pick your brains on socks, scooters and scrapping in fucking sandals. ????

I hardly ever visit that part of Spain, so of no consequence to me...

It was 1.17 4 years ago its hardly been a car crash despite the uncertainty and the continuing fear project.

It was 1.17€ to £1 back in 2013 when we were in a recession (double dip)

That’s not a great benchmark

The £ to € rate has stayed relatively stable around the €1.10 mark since BREXIT

As your link has shown we have strengthened against dollar however it’s more to do with that currency getting weaker than it is the other way

Probably down to your mate Trump

  Have a +1 pal. Made me smile that.

Can help you with the first two but Frank or Kent might be able to advise on the third one?

Go for a pair of these mate. After first checking carefully that all of the materials, manufacturing and distribution issues have been managed ethically of course.

I'm not sure what's less likely the massive wimp that is me having a scrap or me owning some sandals.

Did brexit cause it?

Far eastern countries not paying their bills is inevitably as a result of brexit.

As is the refugee crisis in Bangladesh.

We're all doomed. Repent.
