Watching the Stuttgart Vs Cologne match on BT. Ref has had to use the VAR on a penalty decision late in the game. He ended up reversing his decision and not awarding the pen to Cologne. Took nearly 4 mins from the original penalty to the drop ball. Even then there was still a debate to be had that it was a penalty. This will suck then life out if the game, and the terraces, if this is how it's going to be.

Better still, do the "Linesman's Decision" along with each team having three reviews in each half. The reviews don't roll from first half to second half so three each half is maximum. 

If you're going down the challenge/review route. One per half is more than enough

This is where I'm at with it. The implementation today was awful, as is Fifas new improved handball law. Technology has improved rugby, cricket and tennis as a spectacle, but not football. 

Even Jesus doesn't love VAR.
