  • Fuck bank Holiday get up there for the friendly!

Whilst both are fantastic cities I prefer Edinburgh just about.

Possibly because a pissed up hen party slag hasn't tried forcing her way into our hotel room in Edinburgh at half 3 in the morning.

More than likely kismot. Hospitalised two folk with their killer curry as well.

To be fair if I was the young lad on the stag do in the room on the floor above that she was obviously trying to hook back up with I'd think Newcastle was belting.

Penguin parade is really good fun for all.

RIP WanderersWays, once the online home of Bolton's not rights :-)

Fuck me you Been asleep or struggling with the spelling

Do they have a badger parade? If not they should have...

Actually, scrap that, I forgot they spread TB - have badgers facing a firing squad, perhaps train chimps as the marks erm apes, marksapes.

To settle it, Glasgow is a better city than either.

aye, that really settles it, thanks

No need to thank me

Has Glasgow got penguins?

It’s got better pubs?

No penguins, no party. I'm out.

It’s got better pubs?

Not convinced of that.

Having been to all 3 in recent years I'm in no rush to go back to Glasgow tbf.

Glasgow you have to know where you’re going I think whereas Edinburgh you can find your own way round easier

Glasgow not a patch on Edinburgh though

I've kind of passed through Glasgow a couple of times but never stayed there.  Never been to Edinburgh but would like to go - I hear it's stunning but tourist trap places generally get on my tits no matter how quaint they are.

I'd settle for anywhere in Scotland that had a pub with an extensive spirit selection and some good ale.  Mentioned before the Bon Accord in Glasgow, absolutely beltin pub.

Edinburgh has a castle on a hill bang in the middle of the city like something out of LOTR

Glasgow doesn't even come close to that

me and Smiley went out on the piss for a gig in Glasgow, was decent enough if a bit dead (Sunday afternoon / evening, but still), but wouldn't go back in a hurry, whereas I'd happily go to Edinburgh again and again

Most people think that after a day out with Smiley.

Worked in Glasgow for a few months, nice city, just done new years eve in Edinburgh .... given the choice it would be Edinburgh ever time

Never been to Scotland in my life. I'd like to go but it's so far down on the wishlist that I'd be surprised if I ever do
