April 7, 20188 yr I do wonder if he almost gave the game up and rested a couple for Millwall. Just gave a couple of players a run out. I dis agree that we don't have players with some quality. They may not be the best but, even as journeymen they have it within them to pass the ball. The fact they don't and adhere to the lump it tactic is very much a management decushion. And strange training/practice. Tuesday, we had two holding midfielders, Derek clearly told not to venture too far forward. We had two wide men offering nothing. Hence no creativity. Don't blame him for trying things but until the philosophy within the club changes I cant see any real evolution and just continual struggle.
