  • Full time already? Shame we haven’t got another 50 or so minutes to pull it round

Just home. Unrecognisable second half. Still two soft goals conceded overall but coming out their fans looked thoroughly miserable even after a stoppage time equaliser. That junkie cunt shouldn’t have

We should be going out to cause them a problem and then they have to worry about us.

True that. Honestly thought wed take over 3k for this.

Its massive

Very different though...50% more expensive, longer journey, New ground for many at vale, and a genuine chance of a promotion party. Also all away games were selling out so we were all buying tickets weeks in advance not knowing wheels were going to come off in meantime!

That post was meant to be response to comparison with taking 4k to vale.

I can just see Barnsley getting a result at Leeds away, Derby away nothing, Brentford at home who knows

Derby away for them depends massively on derby needing points. Glad they lost tonight but I can see them already being in play offs before last day and we all know what that means to the line up and effort.

Ipswich had nothing to play for and a manager who was leaving after the game last night and Barnsley still got beat.

That's pretty shit no matter what form they've been in.

Ipswich weren't resting players for their next game though. Just saying I hope derby need to at least avoid defeat. Equally hoping Burton are down before we go there.

Just focus on one thing; not losing on Saturday

Definitely no combination of results that would allow us to lose all our remaining games and still stay up?

no, if we lose every game, we finish on 39. Barnsley currently have 37 and would move to 40.

A draw at Barnsley and 3 defeats could be enough.

Burke is more of a footballer than Beevers.

But Beevers is a gash Division 1 centre back

And Saturday is a gash division 1 contest

So with that I’m going for a Beevers Wheater combo.

Quite right.???? (other than Burke trying to be a footballer and failing, Beevers does not pretend to be)

Beevers also makes mistakes

Like any player asked to do so much to be fair

My only reason for Burke is he isn't scared of the ball

And no better place to make a mistake than in your home town !

What tune?

My ticket has turned up, so we're fucked! I'm the kiss of death at away games.

Mine ain’t so far so might get away with it.

If Burke’s a proper footballer I’m a China man.

That's an odd slant on things.

My old mans a dustman?

To be fair, none of us have exactly been lucky charms at away games this season.

If anyone knows someone who has only travelled to Sheff Utd this season, we should all pay for him to go.

Crewe/Sheffield United double

Well that’s put the brakes on a few paying on door

Really shocked at sales for this

But sell out for burton in a day

What I dont understand is why the club are only selling them until 2 pm tomorrow

I realise they have to return any unsold to Barnsley for them to sell on the day, but why dont they just send them with travel club and therefore have an option to sell until 11.00? tomorrow??

There will be 2.5k+ on for a relegation battle with pay on the day.

Our average "home fan" attendance is round 12.5k, thats 20% of our "attending" fan base commuting, in a season which in most parts we have been shite.

Id say thats not to shabby

Spot on ratwhite

I would go with a 4-2-3-1 on Saturday
Alnwick
Little Burke Wheater Robinson
Henry Pratley
Morais Clough Ameobi
Le Fondre
Put Hall on the bench and I'd start clough as he never has an impact when he comes on as a sub and is better starting for example when he started against Sunderland he scored and Vela has been awful this season. Little and Robinson are our best fullbacks so I don't get why Parkinson plays Taylor and Flanagan. Beevers isn't good enough for the championship and Derik is awful, kept on losing possession in midfield on Tuesday night. Morais has a cross in him which none of the other wingers really have.
