Daughter went, group of them in their mid 20s. Half the show went straight over their heads.

“If you like a lotta chocolate on your biscuit”

Probably means something very different to the youth of today….

Only adverts I see nowadays are for hot singles in my area ready to fuck and penis pumps.

😁😁

I must have the Wayne Rooney cookies because I get asked to bang local grannies who are well up for it.

Not sounding good these reviews are they!

Went to watch him at the MEN on Friday.

Now, I love Peter Kay, especially his telly stuff. Flawless.

His stand up I’ve always thought was a bit average but funny and he’s tapped into something massively popular.

But, that show on Friday was really really poor.

30 minutes singing advert themes from the 1980’s? Misheard lyrics? I know he’s sticking to a formula but it needs refreshing. people were leaving well before the end.

He’s recovering from illness, which I don’t think helps with anything. It just feels like he’s forcing it.

Shame, really, but he gets a free pass for a body of work that’s basically perfect.

Stand up he's been a one trick pony

Jokes around garlic bread, misheard lyrics etc tour after tour

Should knock it on the head but whilst people pay the tickets he'll keep on

Maybe as a stand up he does seem to have lost that edge but then again who could sell all the tickets he has for his latest tour?

We mustn’t forget Car Share and Phoenix Nights which were excellent..

good night out

Give me £75 and I’ll sing Cadbury Flake adverts at you until last orders. And in the taxi home.

I’ll even throw a few Dalek breads in for good measure.

The majority of the material could basically have carried straight on from Top of the Tower, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a negative.

I did warn you all 13 months ago that it hadn’t changed much 😊

It does sound like he does vary certain periods a little bit to mention any relevant news stuff etc to try and keep at least some of it a bit more fresh
