My 7 year old daughter has become obsessed with the Mamma Mia movies.

It's generally on in the background and like being whipped in the ears with electrical wire.

But, at one point, I looked up to see James fucking Bond mumbling along to a song called SOS. The irony was so heavy the telly nearly dropped off the wall.

Vis island. Where Tito had his submarine base when he was head of Yugoslavia. Only opened to the public recently, very undeveloped and beautiful. Couple of amazing caverns, accessible from the sea. The submarine base is interesting to see (similar to the sub bases in Das Boot, I thought), and you can do a military tour of the island.

I agree with the general idea that it gets people home before it gets too rowdy, particularly as the bars will be closed so you'd theoretically have to be eating to stay out late, but 1am does seem to be pushing it more than a little bit! Unless the locals only go out for summat to eat at 10pm so an earlier finish would have been impractical?

Yeah, most of the holiday makers in Benidorm now are Spaniards.Their culture is to go out at least a couple of hours later than Brits.It is like closing Brighton down at 11pm

me & the mrs looking to book somewhere in November for a week,

currently saying its fine to go but you have to stay in the resort & no excursions outside the resort etc...im not one to usually stay around the resort  and like to travel about abit but the price is exceptional for all inclusive and its right on the beach 

i'm in two minds as what to do at the moment
