Bolton v hull

Failing to beat the first man with a corner kick is probably the most annoying trait in football for me.

Otzumer with 92 mins on the clock. Hits the first man.

Absolutely fucking ridiculous.

Hang on, he's had time, how much longer do you want to give? we cannot afford a relegation, and sorry to say that's where we're heading.

He's had time and got us promoted and kept us up.........with eff all money and more baggage than manchester airport

Anybody who wants Parky & his negative tactics replaced by McCarthy needs sectioning.

Not sure he got it further all game. Always tries to go for the killer pass too when we've got spastics ahead who can't read a game or have enough playing time together to read what's going on.

Correct.

A few times he tried a clever dink and the runner was that slow to twig on he may as well have just booted it out of play.

Think he’s a great player mind and offered a turn of pace I’ve not seen this season. I’d be building a team around him.

If Mick McCarthy ends up managing us we may as well give up.

It’ll never be that bad

I’ve been a massive advocate of getting him in the team but I didn’t think he had a brilliant game today.

He did half of what we wanted, he got on the ball, got in good positions and generally links the play very well, much better than anyone else that we have, but he was quite wasteful when he got it. Some of it was down to other players not being on the same level but there was also quite a bit of just a poor end product. I actually think he’s trying too hard, always trying to do the spectacular and that’s probably due to being dropped and feeling like he has to prove himself.

Give him a run of games though and I think he’ll improve a lot, if he can add the end product then he’s the exact player we’re crying out for. If he can build an understanding with Doidge then we will be a much better side, it’s going to take a run of games though, not just the odd one here and there.

Fuckn this !!

Interesting comments from PP.

”From the top to the bottom”

”i’ll keep my counsel”.

Hmmmmm.

Much better than Wednesday ( against weaker opposition ) , quite a few promising performances ( & pleased to see that Wildshutt  has been discarded ), no lack of effort but unsurprisingly with all the changes, as a team we were disjointed & didn't create many, if any, clearcut chances. If we'd scored first, we'd probably have won but we struggle to break down a team once we go behind & when you're struggling you don't seem to get that lucky run/bounce of the ball.

I'd like us to persevere with Oz & Doidge as they are certainly getting better, but i could  understand the reasoning for bringing in more experienced players for the position we're in. I'm glad it's not my decision.

I really don’t rate him. He frustrates the hit out of me

I’d be using the Everton lad in that role.

And I hate to say it he’s just too , too small.

Th'East Midlands Whites are just back, and the motion to start drinking unusually heavily was passed unanimously.

Big Sam , buys into Kens sindicate . 10 mill up front.Ken hands 500K to Parky.

Sam takes the reins. Extra 5thou on the gate.

Time for another pint.

Agree

He needs a run in the team to get to know his team mates and to get in his stride

The pass through to Donaldson for his effort was spot on, he took on a few too many shots of his own that went wayward but after being on the bench and totally dropped before that he probably feels he has to make an impact somehow to play the next game

Otherwise he'll just end up being wasted and frustrated

Doidge was far too anonymous again as well, whatever his strengths are we didn't play to them

Olkowski anonymous?

Can only think it's do do with where you watch the game

He was a machine, albeit not finely tuned, particularly first half

Vela was vela

Thought beevers did fine, but not seen the goal close up

As others have intimated, Olkowski just didn’t look comfortable. As the wing back he had to be offering much more going forward down the flank whereas he seemed happy enough to pull Donaldson in to the channel and thus leaving us one man lighter in the box, while conversely he seemed to get caught out upfield when Hull were breaking. If playing wing backs then Little is the obvious answer though understandable if Parky didn’t fancy to complete 180 minutes inside a few days after such a long period out.

Pawel was getting the ball wide and was on his own with at least two to beat.

But was that because he was taking the ball stood still and then looking up rather than making a run forward so that he can receive the pass in behind the defence? Not necessarily knocking him as he obviously isn’t a natural wing back, but he just seemed happy enough to receive the ball as if he was playing at right back rather than being an attacking outlet.

I’m still behind Parky. He’ll sort it out and we’ll stay up. Let’s not have a witch hunt.

lets give him a bit longer

Why? He's taken shit teams to the world cup, play offs and premier League, his worst finish is this league is 16th or something

Hopefully it won't come to it but if PP goes he'd be ideal and exactly what we need

Bloody hell, williams was a world beater against Preston and I thought we had a right player on our hands.

since then, he has been lazy and with a couldn't give a toss attitude.

he is only interested in having a go after the final whistle.
